A massive explosion engulfs a civilian evacuation ship in flames with the sound effect "はああああああああ". Narration states: "22 YEARS AGO... WHAT HAPPENED AT OHARA... IT STILL SENDS CHILLS DOWN MY SPINE... Someone protests, "HEY!!! DON'T MOCK THE SICK!!" Pointing ahead, a figure exclaims, "HE'S OVER THERE!!" "HE JUST FELL ALL OF A SUDDEN...!!" Robin walks forward calmly, telling the others, "AND TO THINK I GOT ALL WORKED UP OVER NOTHING." The group calls after her, "ROBIN!!" "BUT, ROBIN-SANI!" She turns back with a smile, "HUHI!" I WASN'T SURE HOW TO BREAK THE ICE AFTER ALL THIS TIME..." He continues laughing, "DERESHI SHI SHI..." Robin replies warmly, "HEHE, YOU STILL HAVE THE SAME FUNNY LAUGH!!" Saul looks at her and says softly, "I KNOW YOU'RE NOT A KID ANYMORE!!" A final close-up shows his emotional face as he utters, "ROBIN..."

Saul looms large with a massive grin, hands framing his face as he laughs wildly. "YOU'VE GROWN AS PRETTY AS OLIVIA!! YOU LOOK JUST LIKE HER!!" he booms. "I WAS THERE WHEN IT HAPPENED, SO I COULDN'T HEAR MUCH... BUT I READ THE COVERAGE OF IT IN THE PAPERS... I SEE..." he says. Robin replies, "DID YOU HEAR VEGAPUNK'S BROADCAST, ROBINI YOU'LL UNDERSTAND SOMEDAY. WE CANNOT GIVE UP... ON THE FUTURE YOU WILL LIVE IN!!" She smiles gently, "YOU HAVE KIND EYES, JUST LIKE HER."

Saul continues passionately, "AND YET, THE 'VOICES' OF THE SCHOLARS OF OHARA WERE PASSED ON!! LEFT TO VANISH WITHOUT ANYONE HEARING. THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO HAVE BEEN BURIED IN HISTORY... THOSE WORDS WERE OHARA'S LEGACY! HISTORY IS WRITTEN BY THE VICTORS..." He adds, "VEGAPUNK WAS A TRUE SCIENTIST!! HE REFUSED TO PREACH ABOUT RIGHT AND WRONG, BUT..." Robin touches his arm, asking, "AND YOURS TOO... DOES IT HURTI" with a "TAP". Saul roars, "I'M SURE THEIR SACRIFICE WILL SHAPE THE FUTURE!! YEAH. IN THE END, HE STILL RISKED HIS LIFE TO TELL EVERYONE!! OHARA AND VEGAPUNK TOOK A HUGE LEAP OF FAITH!!" In a close-up, Saul's face twists in rage and tears. "ALL THOSE REPORTS REALLY TICKED ME OFF!! THEY SAID SUCH AWFUL THINGS ABOUT YOU!! THE ICE MUST'VE MELTED IN THAT INFERNO AND SWEPT ME INTO THE WATER... IT WAS A WHILE LATER WHEN I FOUND YOU SURVIVED, TOO. DERESHI SHI SHI!! NAH, I'M HARDER TO KILL THAN I THOUGHT. WHEN I CAME TO, I FOUND MYSELF DROWNING IN THE OCEAN...!!!"

Saul laughs wildly, "DERESHI SHI SHI!!" Robin smiles softly with closed eyes. Saul leans in dramatically, "AREN'T YOU GOING TO PRAISE ME FOR BEING ALIVEI" Robin replies, "LET'S NOT FOCUS ON THE DARK STUFF!...HEY, SAUL." Saul bursts out laughing again, "RIGHT!! OF COURSE I AM!! A KID LIKE YOU AGAINST THE WHOLE WIDE WORLDI!" Robin smiles warmly, "WHY AM I THE ONE WHO HAS TO LIVEI I CAN'T STAND IT! I WANT TO DIE! AAH...!" as tears form. Saul spreads his arms wide in the background, shouting, "THANK YOU FOR BEING SUCH A SURVIVOR!! YOU DID GREAT STAYING ALIVE, ROBIN!! 22 LONG YEARS!!" Robin weeps, "PROFESSOR! MOM! SAUL! WHY AM I THE ONE WHO HAS TO LIVEI" Saul sits on the ground with tears streaming, "I'M SO GLAD WE'RE ABLE TO MEET AGAIN AFTER ALL THIS TIME!!"

Saul and Robin embrace in a tearful hug, both crying heavily. Saul sobs, "DERE SHI SHI!!! I MISSED YOU, TOO!!!" Robin cries out, "I'VE MISSED YOU SO MUCH, SAUL...!!!" with large tears and Japanese sound effects for sobbing.
