Chapter 273 summary
A massive explosion erupts over the forested landscape, hurling a striped long-necked creature, people, and debris through the air amid panicked shouts. On the waver, Luffy yells in excitement about leaving while the others grip tightly and struggle with the engine as the craft is blasted forward. Pierre the bird cries out while diving through smoke and falling rocks after voices urge him to save two others. Enormous chunks of ancient ruins plummet from above and crash into the ruined city below. Nami stares upward in shock at the falling debris as Zoro cuts apart a rock hurtling toward her. Nami notes that the gold is gone, and the pair spots the Golden City amid the wreckage. A man in a coat stands with a small reindeer-like figure and remarks that this is the Golden City they sought. A massive striped serpent then bursts from the rubble with a thunderous impact.
