Chapter 427 summary
Sogeking screams across the battlefield for Luffy to wake up as the warships close in and cannon fire shakes the bridge. Luffy lies battered before Lucci while the Marines watch the Straw Hats fight on equal terms with CP9 captains. Sogeking, recognized as Usopp, challenges Lucci to rescue Robin and tells Luffy to stand up because the sky and ocean are still visible and this is not hell. Luffy rises and resumes the fight as Lucci activates Seimei Kikan and unleashes rapid Shigan and Rokuougan strikes. Memories of Robin's capture and the Government's threats drive Luffy forward until he lands a Gomu Gomu Jet Gatling that batters Lucci through the collapsing first prop. Lucci slumps defeated amid the rubble while Luffy stands panting and declares that it is over. Robin and the others react with shock and tears as Luffy shouts that they will all return together.
