Chapter 513 summary
Kuma sits atop rubble in a ruined city square above defeated CP9 agents. In the present battle Kuma unleashes a massive paw-shaped impact that sends Zoro flying away in an instant. The Straw Hats react in panic as Nami recalls Perona's earlier disappearance at Thriller Bark and Usopp and Luffy demand to know where Zoro has gone. Kuma vanishes briefly then reappears to explain that anyone repelled by his paws flies through the sky for three days and nights and may end up on the other side of the world. Sanji confronts the towering Kuma and is struck by another paw blast while multiple identical figures appear on the battlefield. Kuma declares he will not be hindered and blasts his own allies away amid explosions and debris. The Straw Hats scramble to escape as voices urge everyone to get to safety first. Brook appears and vows to protect the others even at the cost of his life while the group regroups amid the ongoing chaos.
