Chapter 610 summary
A large sound echoes through Coral Hill as mermaids and fish-men race through the streets calling for Sanji. Inside a room Sanji lies pale in bed after losing nearly all his blood, and the mermaids explain they searched the town for a donor before finally succeeding. Sanji thanks them but reacts in horror upon learning the donors were the Pirate Twins Splash and Splatter. At the same time Chopper examines Luffy’s arm and confirms poison from the earlier fight, yet notes Luffy’s body already produces antibodies against it. Luffy recalls past poisonings while Chopper warns him to rest. Elsewhere the tentacle-legged swordsman Hyouzou admits he accidentally poisoned Luffy and expresses mild concern. The scene shifts to the back room of the Mermaid Cafe where Madame Shirley allows the Straw Hats to stay but insists they keep Sanji from learning their location. Luffy and the others explore the room while Nami smiles nervously at the unusual arrangement.
