During combat Black Maria adopts a spider-like form with rose patterns visible on her body. She swings a large club amid fiery debris while her hair and clothing display flower motifs and dark shading. Her lower body remains visible with flames rising around her in certain moments.23

Black Maria refers to Lili-chan positively during a meeting of the Tobiroppo. She smiles while noting that Lili-chan does not back down from anyone. Black Maria states she will stay right here when ordered to deliver the boy and volunteers to go to the treasure room on the second floor.456

Black Maria's spider legs are shown as poison tipped and Black Maria uses Maria Hush technique on Nico Robin. Black Maria lands multiple heavy punches on Nico Robin and uses Oiran Knuckles attack before trapping Nico Robin inside Maria Cage.25

Maria uses Maria Hush and Oiran Knuckles while noting that Robin has noticed her legs are poison tipped. She laughs that Robin is a satisfyingly large punching bag and adds oh my with a heart symbol while sending her flying.26
