Kamakiri
Kamakiri is a Shandia warrior who confronts Aisa about visiting Upper Yard and participates in battles against Enel and his forces. He readies blades amid metallic sound effects during charges toward the Shrine of God and later launches surprise attacks on Enel while refusing to dodge strikes for five minutes. Kamakiri is known for his role among the Shandia fighters alongside Wiper, Braham, and Genbo, as well as his determination to reach the ruins of Shandora despite overwhelming opposition from priests and divine soldiers.
Appearance
Kamakiri wears a headband along with armbands and spotted pants while gripping a long staff during confrontations. He also uses goggles that are knocked off during intense exchanges and maintains an upright seated posture when addressing opponents. Close views reveal his fierce determined facial expression along with sweat drops and a shocked open-mouth reaction in moments of surprise.123

Kamakiri refuses to dodge or counterattack Enel's strikes for five minutes and declares he will neither dodge nor strike back at the attacks. He challenges Enel to try attacking and states he will sit for five minutes while announcing himself as the warrior of Shandora. Kamakiri growls upward asking when the opponent will stop protecting a dead city and retorts that he does not care about the past.678

Kamakiri sits on the ground in the Shandia village sharpening his sword when Aisa runs past the large tents and totem poles. He jumps slightly at her sudden appearance and points the sharpened sword toward her while warning that she has Vearth in her purse and may lose her life if she continues visiting Upper Yard.1314
Advance on Upper Yard
During the charge across Upper Yard the Shandia warriors surge forward with wings and weapons while calling out to each other. Kamakiri readies his blades amid the metallic sounds as the group presses ahead through clouds and debris toward the sacred goal.15

Kamakiri dashes off into the forest after Genbo commands the group to split up and warns against further humiliation. He wishes his brothers good luck while noting that the priests have modified their trial territories.16

Kamakiri charges at Zoro thrusting his spear and yelling DIE before being struck hard in the face with the hilt of a sword and sent flying backwards. He stands nearby after defeating a Divine Soldier and remarks that the soldiers of the militia are quite tough while noting the loss of a few men to those bastards. Kamakiri observes Zoro and declares that the warrior must be destroyed as one of the citizens of the Blue Sea that Waipa talked about.20
Kamakiri sprints through the dense forest toward the ruins of Shandora and arrives at a clearing where Enel is waiting. He leaps forward with staff striking Enel from above and perches on a high vantage point overlooking the landscape. Kamakiri is bloodied and battered during the fight after Enel lands a powerful punch sending him flying and attempts to strike Enel with his staff while being hurled backward through trees.2112
