Kumashi
Kumashi is a large stitched bear zombie who serves as Perona's underling and primary mode of transport. He carries her to locations across Thriller Bark and remains at her side during orders and confrontations with intruders. Kumashi is known for emitting sounds through his stitched mouth while being repeatedly commanded not to speak.
Appearance
Kumashi appears as a massive stitched bear with striped limbs that allow Perona to ride on his back. His body features visible bandages and a zipper along the back that remains out of reach during combat. The bear maintains an upright posture even when moving at high speeds through courtyards and hallways.12
Personality
Kumashi remains quiet unless reporting urgent matters to Perona or Absalom. Perona consistently scolds him for speaking because his deep voice angers her and because she finds him cute only when silent. He responds to commands with short acknowledgments such as UNDERSTOOD before being told not to answer.34
Kumashi shows panic through sweat drops and flailing when accused of hiding intruders. He attempts to deliver reports despite repeated interruptions and expresses concern for Perona's safety during attacks. His loyalty appears in protective actions rather than extended speech.56

Kumashi demonstrates physical strength that exceeds that of a real bear during direct confrontations. He charges forward with horned form and labeled attacks that produce massive impacts and debris. The bear zombie executes a finishing move called His-Satsu that leaves opponents on the ground.789
Kumashi transforms into a horned creature for enhanced assaults and delivers successive strikes that send opponents flying through the air. Kumashi first appears when Perona arrives carried near the clock tower. He later receives whispered instructions from Perona on a balcony overlooking the grand hall before she departs for the ship. The bear-like zombie acknowledges the orders to direct the squirrel-key brothers and the treasure recovery group while staying silent to avoid scolding.121314

Kumashi attempts to report trouble upon Perona's return and stands on the balcony while she questions the presence of pirates. He remains inside a protective bubble with Perona and another when danger is detected. Later Kumashi speaks audibly in front of the Straw Hats hidden nearby and panics during the awakening of Oars.151617
Kumashi is ordered to accompany Perona after the confrontation in the dance hall. He follows her through corridors as she directs subordinates to stop ongoing disturbances. The bear zombie remains present when Perona's real body is later immobilized during the final encounters.1819

Kumashi is reported beaten alongside the Vice-Commander by the Long Nose during later events in the Wonder Garden area. Perona's followers note this outcome while worrying about her safety. The bear zombie's defeat occurs as the mansion collapses around them.29
Major battles
Kumashi enters combat in the courtyard and upper halls to defend Perona from Usopp. He barrels forward with protective declarations and delivers direct strikes that send the opponent flying. The fight continues through corridors where Kumashi spins and bounces while pursuing despite flame and oil interference.3031
Kumashi overpowers Usopp with successive blows including a final crushing strike that leaves the opponent on the ground. Perona observes and comments on his strength during the exchange. The battle ends with Kumashi being knocked backward into pillars after completing his attack sequence.3233
