Chapter 1043 summary

Kaido defeats Luffy on the Skull Dome rooftop after a CP0 agent freezes him in place, leaving Luffy motionless in the rubble with his voice gone. Kaido descends into the burning castle and declares Luffy dead, then demands Momonosuke's surrender while threatening to land Onigashima on the Flower Capital and turn the country into a weapons factory. The alliance fighters panic amid collapsing floors and flames, and Nami refuses to accept the loss. Kid and Law, exhausted after defeating Big Mom, reject surrender and continue fighting the Beast Pirates.
