What happens in chapter 1061

Chapter 1061 summary

The Straw Hats remain trapped in a massive warm eddy when Jewelry Bonney surfaces from the water. A giant Mecha-Shark attacks the Thousand Sunny and knocks Luffy, Chopper, and Bonney into the sea. Jinbe dives after them while Franky maneuvers the ship, but the shark fires cannons until the giant robot Vegaforce 12 punches it aside. The group reaches Egghead's shore, where Bonney scolds Luffy for failing to recognize her as a fellow Worst Generation member and explains that she has business with Dr. Vegapunk on the government island.

At G-14 Naval Base, Tashigi tends to the Punk Hazard children while Helmeppo and Hibari beg Prince Grus to help rescue Koby from Blackbeard's territory, but Grus refuses. On Egghead the robot's pilot emerges and introduces herself as Dr. Vegapunk, leaving the Straw Hats stunned.
