The Captain Koby Incident

A ship sails across the ocean under a clear sky. A voice calls out, "YOU'RE REALLY NOT GOING TO JOIN THE CREW, MARCOI" Marco replies from off-panel, "ALL RIGHT, THANKS AGAIN FOR THE RIDE-YOI!" Someone laughs, "HAHAHA! QUIT DREAMING." The location is labeled NEAR SPHINX (WHITEBEARD'S HOMELAND) in the New World. Below, a large man with a striped shirt laughs "GYAHA HAHA!!" while shouting "'FRAID I CAN'T. BACK ME UP HERE, BECK!! HEY, IT'S NOT LIKE I'M A HANDFUL OR ANYTHING!!" Nearby, a grinning man with glasses says, "...TO KEEP PLAYING BABYSITTER FOR YOU GREAT PIRATES! HEHE... I'M WAY TOO OLD AND WORN OUT..." In the next scene, voices urge, "YOU'RE NOT LEAVING WITH USI! COME ON, BE A PIRATE!!" and "SERIOUSLYI!" A box notes "A LITTLE EARLIER, BACK IN WANO..." as a man waves and says "SEE YA AROUND!!" while another figure reacts with shock.

Yamato smiles and says, "CAN'T JUST ABANDON EVERYBODY NOW, CAN II!" while another voice notes "KAIDO MIGHT BE GONE NOW, BUT THAT FOREST GUY WAS ONLY DRIVEN OFF THANKS TO WHOEVER CAUSED THAT IMMENSE BURST OF HAKI. Luffy, wearing a straw hat, listens as Yamato continues, "I GUESS YOU GOT A POINT... IT WOULD BE A LOAD OFF MY MIND...!! BUT MAN, I STILL REALLY WANT TO BE ONE OF YOU! TO BE A REAL CREWMATE!" Luffy looks surprised. Yamato adds, "...IF WE WERE ALWAYS WORRYING ABOUT WANO. BESIDES, I DOUBT EITHER OF US WOULD ENJOY OUR ADVENTURES..." A dragon flies overhead as Yamato declares, "I KNOW! I'LL FIND ANOTHER REASON FOR ME TO STAY!!" Momonosuke warns, "CAREFUL, YAMATO. MOMO HAS A LOT OF PRIDE. DON'T WOUND IT." Yamato smiles and replies, "OKAY, I'LL LEAVE MOMO AND OTHERS TO YOU!!"

Marco smiles and says, "YEAH... MARCO!! YOU'RE LEAVING ALREADYI!" while pointing toward a distant ship and adding, "SO I'LL BE HEADING OFF FIRST-YOI. THERE'S A SHIP NEARBY THAT'LL GIVE ME A LIFT, STRAW HAT!!" In a flashback panel, a figure laughs "WAHAHA! THAT WAS A WHILE AGO, WHO COULD SAYI" as Jinbe reacts with surprise. Luffy grins widely at Jinbe and shouts, "I NEVER GOT TO SAY THANKS!! YOU SAVED ME BACK IN THE SUMMIT WAR, RIGHTI JINBE!! TAKE ACE'S BROTHER AND GO!!" Luffy bursts into laughter with "OH YEAHI! SHISHISHI!!" while Jinbe smiles and says, "I'M SURE ACE WOULD BE PROUD TO SEE HOW FAR YOU'VE COME-YOI!!"

A figure is hurled through the air above the sea near a rocky island as a voice calls out, "STAY STRONG!! THE TIMES BELONG TO YOU YOUNGSTERS NOW!!" Another replies, "GOT IT LATER!!" with a "バキッ!!" impact. Below, the island of Amazon Lily comes into view with a sign reading "THE ISLE OF WOMEN - AMAZON LILY, CALM BELT." A woman declares, "AS LONG AS I'M HERE, THE NAVY WON'T STOP COMING. BUT WHERE IN THE WORLD WOULD I GO..." while noting "THE TOWN IS IN BAD SHAPE." Narration adds, "THIS IS THE FIRST TIME IN HISTORY MEN HAVE INVADED LIKE THIS..." In a close-up, Boa Hancock rests her chin on her hand and says, "...GO AND MARRY LUFFY♡" Elder Nyon shouts back, "YOU ALWAYS THINK THAT!" A few weeks prior, Kuja warriors battle invading Marines at the gates of Amazon Lily. Explosions rock the ships as fighters yell, "WE'RE UNDER FIRE! THE KUJA ARE RESISTING!!" and "THE GATES ARE DOWN!!" with cries of "わあああああ" A Marine officer named Yamakaji orders, "GET READY TO RECORD WHAT HAPPENS!" and "DEPLOY THE NEW PACIFISTAS! THE SERAPHIMS SHOULD BE ON THE FRONT LINES!!" while noting, "STILL NOT READY TO COME OUT AND FACE US, HANCOCKI" A young Seraphim girl appears amid the chaos; a Marine screams, "KYAAH!!" and another shouts, "WHO IS THATI! I CAN'T FIGHT A CHILD!!" as the narration states, "THE CHAPTER OF OVERWHELMING STRENGTH...!! ALSO..."

Blackbeard Pirates arrive by sea. Lookouts shout, "ATTENTION!! REPORT FROM THE SHORE!! PIRATES INCOMING!!" and "WARSHIP SPOTTED!! WATCH THE STERN!!" Blackbeard laughs "ZEHAHAHAHA!" as a massive quake strikes with "ズドンッ" and "ズドンッ" effects. Crew members panic, "IT'S A SEAQUAKE!! THE SEAKINGS WILL NOTICE US!!" and "AN EMPEROR'S CREW IS HERE!! THE BLACKBEARD PIRATES!!" Blackbeard stands triumphantly on the deck declaring, "ZEHAHA! I'VE COME FOR THE PIRATE EMPRESS!! I WON'T LET A POWER LIKE HERS FALL INTO THE NAVY'S CLUTCHES!!"

Blackbeard looms over Boa Hancock, taunting, "HEHEHE, THAT HANCOCK... WHAT A GORGEOUS FACE♡ HER HEAD WILL MAKE A WONDERFUL TROPHY AFTER I WRING HER NECK♡" while his crew suggests, "YOU CAN HAVE YOUR WAY WITH HER AFTER WE TAKE HER POWERS!!" and "...HAVE MORE FUN WITH HER IF WE TOOK HER ALIVE♡" Hancock fights back fiercely, shouting, "I'M NOT HERE FOR YOU FLEAS!!" A Marine calls out, "VICE ADMIRAL!! WE NEED YOU TO GIVE THE ORDER TO ENGAGE BLACKBEARD!!" Another orders, "HOLD FIRE UNTIL WE HEAR FROM HQ!!" Blackbeard roars amid the destruction, "CAN'T SAY I'M SURPRISED. WE EXPECTED OTHER PIRATES TO WANT A PIECE OF THE FORMER WARLORDS!!" as the island erupts with "ズドンッ" and cries of "BOA HANCOCK!!"

At the ruins of a grand palace, Hancock's sisters urge her to surrender. "LET US HANDLE THIS, SISTER!!" one shouts. Another warns the Marines, "IF YOU SURRENDER YOURSELF TO US, I PROMISE WE'LL LEAVE IMMEDIATELY!!" and declares "THE NAVY ISN'T LOOKING FOR A FIGHT!! HANCOCK-SAN!!" A voice calls out, "THIS 'HERO' OF THEIRS SURE IS CONCEITED!" Close-up, Hancock glares furiously and declares, "I'LL NEVER SUBMIT TO ANOTHER'S CAPTIVITY!!" She snaps at her sisters, "DON'T WASTE YOUR BREATH!!" Below, a Blackbeard pirate with a scarred face reacts in shock: "YOU'RE KIDDING!! WHITE HAIR, BROWN SKIN......AND BLACK WINGSI!" Another Marine yells, "NOTHING PHASES THIS THING!! COMMODORE TEACH!! SAVE US!!" as an explosion erupts. A final panel shows Hancock's leg and high heel stepping forward with a "カチン..." sound as someone pleads, "WAIT, SISTER! DON'T DO IT!!"

"HE'S A PACIFISTAI! DON'T TELL ME..." someone realizes. The scarred man roars in rage, "DAMN IT...!! A PACIFISTA BRAT!!" while another yells, "WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ONI!" A massive impact sends shockwaves as the Pacifista child attacks, with cries of "ARGH!!" and "URGH!!" filling the air. One pirate gasps, "THIS IS HUGE!!"

A massive "BLACK HOLE!!" attack erupts with "ズドォン!!!" as victims scream "GYAH!!!" and "AGH!!!" Below, heart-shaped Slave Arrows rain down, petrifying dozens. "SLAVE ARROW!!" Hancock commands. A Marine cries "GYAH!!" as another gasps "OOOH!! ♡" in unwilling awe. Hancock glares and orders, "YOU'LL SMASH THE PEOPLE WHO'VE BEEN TURNED TO STONE!! STOP RIGHT NOW!! THAT'S AN ORDER!!" Vice Admiral Yamakaji shouts, "HEY, PACIFISTA!! STOP THAT!!" while a subordinate yells, "YOU TOO, VICE ADMIRAL YAMAKAJII!" and "HELMEPPO-SAN!!" Helmeppo reacts with shock as the chaos spreads.

Blackbeard looms over the scene, declaring, "I'VE HAD MY EYE... ON YOUR POWER FOR QUITE A WHILE!!" and "I SEE THEY DON'T CALL YOU EMPRESS FOR NOTHING!!" A wanted poster reveals his identity: EMPEROR "BLACKBEARD" MARSHALL D. TEACH BOUNTY: 3,996 BILLION. Hancock stands defiant, "SHE CAN'T USE HER POWERS...!!" as crewmates panic. A crew member notes, "I KNEW IT, BOA HANCOCK IS FAR TRICKIER THAN ANYONE EXPECTED!!" while others cry "WHAT DO I DOI! EVERYONE'S BEEN TURNED TO STONE..."

On a devastated island filled with ornate buildings, a fierce battle rages. A voice declares, "THAT MADE IT POSSIBLE FOR ME TO OUST OCHOKU... AND BECOME THE BOSS OF PIRATE ISLAND!!" In closer panels, a dark-haired woman with a serious expression says, "I'LL DO IT... IF YOU TWO GET OFF MY ISLAND....!!" A goggled man sweats and mutters, "IT'D BE A HEADACHE FOR ME IF SHE DIDN'T RESTORE THE MARINES..." A large man with a black beard and hat grins, "DO YOU RECKON SHE'D PLAY NICE AND CHANGE EVERYONE BACK TO NORMALI IF I UNHAND THE WOMAN,..." The goggled man continues, "THIS IS A REAL HEAD-SCRATCHER... BUT I GUESS I GOTTA KILL YA." The bearded man replies, "I HONESTLY DON'T THINK ANY MAN CAN RESIST YOUR CHARMS." He adds, "YOU'D JUST TURN US TO STONE, RIGHTI I JUST DON'T BUY IT!! THE WAY I SEE IT, IF I LET GO, YOU KNOW," while gripping a struggling figure as someone cries, "PLEASE WAIT!! DON'T THROW ALL THOSE LIVES AWAY!!" and another grunts, "UGH!"

Silvers Rayleigh arrives dramatically on the battlefield, cape flowing as he holds a sword. A voice shouts, "SORRY I'M LATE, HANCOCK. D-DARK KING RAYLEIGHI!" Another exclaims, "WHAAATI! THE SILVERS RAYLEIGHI!" and "WHAAATI!" Rayleigh states, "I KNEW THE NAVY WOULD LAY SIEGE TO THE ISLAND... BUT I DIDN'T THINK THE TERRAIN HERE WOULD GET THIS DEVASTATED." He continues, "WHITEBEARD'S OLD APPRENTICE, HUH... I KNOW IT'S IMMATURE TO ADMIT THIS, BUT I REALLY DON'T LIKE YOU." A woman calls out, "RAYLEIGH!!" Rayleigh declares firmly, "I WON'T ALLOW ANY FUNNY BUSINESS. THEN THE INVADERS WILL LEAVE THE ISLAND... I WILL ENSURE THIS DE-ESCALATES WITHOUT ISSUE. HANCOCK, RELEASE EVERYBODY THAT'S BEEN TURNED TO STONE." The large bearded man reacts with shock as the scene focuses on Rayleigh's intense gaze.

The scene shifts to the present day on a tropical island. A woman with short black hair and a cigarette, identified as Shakuyaku, sits relaxed and says, "IT'S THANKS TO YOU, RAYLEIGH. YOU MANAGED TO SURVIVE THAT. I'M SO GLAD..." She reflects, "...WITH VEGAPUNK'S SEASTONE PADDLESHIPS OUT THERE, EVEN THE CALM BELT ISN'T SAFE ANYMORE... PROGRESS SOMETIMES CAUSES NEW PROBLEMS... BETWEEN THE NAVY'S NEW WEAPONS AND BLACKBEARD'S ARRIVAL... I THOUGHT WE WERE DONE FOR-NYO!" A cloaked figure kneels nearby. Shakuyaku adds, "I'M PRETTY CERTAIN I WOULDN'T WIN A HEAD ON FIGHT AGAINST BLACKBEARD THESE DAYS....TO RESOLVE THINGS WITH MY REPUTATION... I'VE GOTTEN OLD. CIRCUMSTANCES ALLOWED ME... TO BE FRANK, WE GOT LUCKY." Rayleigh responds nearby as the group discusses the situation.

Shakuyaku and companions continue, "THOSE TWO DIDN'T HAVE A SINGLE SCRATCH ON THEM!! EVEN AFTER EVERYTHING..." A close-up shows a woman with a headband noting, "...TO REPLACE THE SEVEN WARLORDS WITH THOSE NEW WEAPONS. FROM THE SOUNDS OF IT, THE NAVY ARE LOOKING..." A young blonde woman smiles and exclaims, "BIG SIS DID WHEN SHE WAS A KID!! IT WAS BIZARRE....!! ONE OF THEM LOOKED JUST LIKE..." The page cuts to a dramatic newspaper spread: "...HAS BEEN ABDUCTED BY ONE OF THE FOUR EMPERORS, BLACKBEARD!! CAPTAIN KOBY, THE HERO OF THE ROCKY PORT INCIDENT... AT EGGHEAD PORT SOON. YES. WE'LL BE DOCKING... HIS CURRENT STATUS IS UNKNOWN!! WORD SPREADS ACROSS THE WORLD!!" A ship sails as the headline reads "ONE PIECE" and "CH.1059 /END".
