Zala says, "You're a stubborn girl, aren't you..."

Zala extends one arm, her fingers elongated into sharp spikes. She says, "What point is there in running away? You have no chance of winning, and no one's coming to help you." She continues, "If you just sit still, I'll let you die a quick and painless death....Or do you intend to continue on with your little magic show?" Behind her cover, Nami frantically flips through a manual while holding the pieces of her Clima-Tact. She mutters, "I've still got plenty of techniques left to showcase! Just you wait!" She resolves, "TO HELL WITH IT! I'LL JUST KEEP TRYING EVERYTHING UNTIL I FIND ONE THAT WORKS!" Nami connects two pieces of the Clima-Tact and declares, "THE WEATHER IS LIGHTNING!" She swings the weapon forward, shouting, "SHOOT! THUNDER TEMPO!" Instead of lightning, a small boxing glove on a spring pops out of the end of the staff.

The spring-loaded boxing glove extends and hits Zala squarely in the face with a "SMACK!" and a "BOOOIING!" sound. Nami slumps to the ground in despair, thinking, "MY CHEEK IS BLEEDING... THIS IS IT FOR ME, ISN'T IT... AM I REALLY GOING TO DIE HERE...?" Zala, infuriated, transforms her hair into sharp spikes and slashes downward with her spiked fingers, yelling, "STINGER FINGER!" Nami barely dodges the attack, crying out "AH!" Zala remarks, "Now that's a sensible decision. Oh? So you've resigned yourself to your fate?" Nami, sweating and panicked, looks at the manual again. She complains, "Huh? Why couldn't he have come up with something more useful for batt-" She angrily concludes, "Well, if I end up dying, I'm definitely gonna curse that useless, long-nosed sack of crap from beyond the grave!"

Nami looks up in shock, a "!!?" bubble appearing next to her. High above, Zala is standing upside down on the underside of a stone archway spanning the alley. Nami exclaims, "She's standing upside-down!? BUT HOW!?" A close-up shows Zala's feet; spikes have grown from the soles of her shoes, piercing the stone to hold her in place. Zala looks down at Nami, and her voluminous curly hair suddenly expands and hardens into a massive, spherical cluster of sharp spikes.

Zala drops from the archway, her entire body encased in the giant spike ball formed by her hair. She shouts, "STINGER HEDGEHOG!" as she plummets toward Nami. Nami screams "AGHH!" and runs for her life as the spike ball hits the ground and begins spinning rapidly, tearing up the stone pavement. Nami looks back, sweating, and says, "THAT WAS CLOSE!" She holds up her hands in a desperate plea, yelling, "W-W-WAIT! STOP!" as the destructive spike ball continues to barrel toward her.

The spike ball relentlessly chases Nami down the street, tearing up the ground with loud rumbling sound effects. Nami screams, "I SAID WAAA-AAAIIIT! JUST GIVE ME ONE MINUTE! 1 LOUSY MINUTE! OH COME ON!" Realizing she can't outrun it in the street, she thinks, "I'm only going to be caught out here in the open! Maybe inside this building!" She turns and runs toward a nearby building, but the spike ball crashes violently through the wall right behind her, sending debris flying. Nami cries out, "IT'S USELESS!" as the wall shatters.

Inside the ruined building, Zala emerges from the spike ball, her hair returning to normal. She looks down menacingly and says, "It's the end for you, my pincushion!" Nami is trapped under the rubble, but she grabs the edge of her skirt and tears it with a "RIP" sound, freeing her leg. She replies, "Sorry, but I'm not... JUST YET!" Zala thrusts her spiked hair down into the rubble with a "POKE POKE", but Nami has already rolled away, shouting "GONNA DIE-". A massive cloud of dust rises from the impact, obscuring the area as Nami escapes the immediate strike.

That I felt like I came across something bad in the Clima-Tact manual just back a moment ago..." She reads a specific line in the manual: "THE ABOVE-LISTED TECHNIQUES ARE A SUREFIRE WAY TO KICK THINGS OFF AT PARTIES AND ENTERTAIN PEOPLE!" Realizing the weapon was designed for party tricks, Nami's face contorts in absolute fury.
