Chapter 697 summary
Luffy accepts Law's proposal for an alliance to defeat Kaido despite the thirty percent odds of success. Law notes he will head for Green Bit while the Straw Hats arrange for G-5 to take the children away on the tanker. The Marines draw a line and shout insults to keep the children from seeing the pirates, yet the children still call out their thanks and vow to become pirates themselves. Doflamingo races through the sky toward the island but finds his route interrupted. He locates the injured Baby 5 and Buffalo on a life raft and then speaks with Law, who holds Caesar captive. Law states that he has Caesar and proposes a deal, warning Doflamingo not to anger Kaido by cutting off the supply.
