What is Dalton?

Dalton is the former captain of the royal guards of the Drum Kingdom and a user of the Ushi Ushi no Mi, Model: Bison Zoan-type Devil Fruit. ch. 136, p. 12 He confronts Wapol after leaping into battle with a massive spade weapon and declares that the kingdom has no more need for its ruler. ch. 136, p. 9 Dalton transforms into his hybrid bison form with horns and snout, dodges gunfire with superhuman speed, and slams his weapon to create shockwaves that hurl soldiers into the air. ch. 136, p. 13 Villagers recognize him as the only man from the former regime who fought for the country and rush to aid him when he is struck by arrows. ch. 136, p. 15 "A kingdom that would choose to abandon its people at the first sign of trouble is better off destroyed...!" ch. 136, p. 14 "I won't go easy on you just because you're my former subordinates..." ch. 136, p. 12 He later questions the value of laws that turn citizens into hostages while protecting the sick. ch. 136, p. 11
