Drum Island arc

The Drum Island arc of One Piece runs chapters 130 to 154 — 25 chapters and 540 pages, each read page by page. It opens: A panicked close-up shows a sweating face with wide eyes as someone cries out, "WELL!I IZ SHE, BIBI!I" and "IZ NABI GUNNA DIE!I" The next panel reveals Sanji, cigarette in mouth and sweat on his brow, standing before a bookshelf. He states, "IS SICKNESS CAUSED BY THE ABNORMAL CLIMATE... THE ONE OBSTACLE THAT ALL SAILORS WHO ENTER GRAND LINE WILL CRASH INTO SOONER OR LATER," and concludes, "IT MUST BE FROM THE CLIMATE CHANGE..." In the ship's cabin below, Nami lies in bed looking pale while Chopper kneels beside her. Usopp, Luffy, and Sanji stand nearby. Sanji continues, "HELPLESSLY DYING AT THE HANDS OF SUCH ILLNESSES IS A COMMON OCCURRENCE HERE IN GRAND LINE," while Usopp adds, "NO MATTER HOW FAMOUS OR STRONG OF A PIRATE YOU ARE."
