Chapter 437 summary
At Shipwreck Island, citizens yell at the naked Franky while Luffy repeats his invitation to join as a nakama. Franky refuses and strikes a naked heroic pose, which impresses Luffy. Robin activates her Devil Fruit powers to grab Franky in a painful hold, forcing him to admit he wants to stay on the island yet gave the Straw Hats his dream ship as a final creation. Iceburg challenges the excuse, explains that a dream ship earns its name only after sailing through hardships, and tells Franky to forgive himself for past events involving Tom. Franky breaks down in tears as the Franky Family throws him luggage and begs him to leave while they carry on his role.
