Below, a massive shadowy figure looms while someone remarks, "WE'VE GOT SOMEONE WITH BAD MANNERS HERE." and a close-up shows Blackbeard grinning, "... HEE HEE..."

I WAS ON WHITEBEARD'S SHIP FOR SEVERAL DECADES. IF I NEVER GOT LUCKY, I HAD DECIDED TO GIVE UP. I MEMORIZED ALL OF THE FRUIT SHAPES LISTED IN THE ILLUSTRATED REFERENCE BOOK, SO I KNEW IT WAS THE FRUIT I'D BEEN LOOKING FOR RIGHT AWAY. HE HAD OBTAINED THE DEVIL FRUIT THAT I WANTED!! Blackbeard unleashes his power in a massive close-up, eyes wild and mouth open in a roar. Massive black smoke and energy erupt around him with the words "DARKNESS!!!" and "ZEHAHAHAHA!!! I AM..."
