Chapter 546 summary
On Level 1, Mr. 3 blocks Magellan's Hydra with a Candle Wall and then equips Luffy with wax gloves and boots. Luffy uses the armor to punch through the poison with a Gomu Gomu Champion Rifle and confirms he can strike Magellan directly. Prisoners set up cannons behind candle shields to hold the warden back while Luffy stays to fight. At the front gates the escaping prisoners discover the Marine battleships have already sailed away on Magellan's order, leaving them stranded before the Calm Belt. Jimbei carries a massive gate section into the water as a raft and takes Crocodile and Mr. 1 toward the fleet. He uses Mizu-Gokoro and Kairyu Ipponzeoi to launch the raft onto a battleship deck. The group boards and faces the Marines, who plan to throw them overboard. Jimbei unleashes Yari-Nami at the ship and realizes too late that he has damaged the vessel they need to steal.
