Chapter 645 summary
Luffy drives his hardened fist into Hody Jones inside the air bubble above Fishman Island while Shirahoshi and Megalo pull the damaged Noah away from the people below. Hody bites into the bubble to recover and counters with Fishman Jujutsu Mizugokoro Murasame, but Luffy activates Gear Third and unleashes Elephant Gun followed by Elephant Gatling to hammer the hull of the Noah. On the plaza the fishmen recall Whitebeard's past protection of the island and debate whether humans can truly be allies as Hody is defeated. Zeo declares that death itself will carry on their revenge and refuses to yield even after capture. Robin urges the crowd to judge the humans fighting on their behalf with their own eyes while Brook defeats Zeo and rejects his view of death as a lasting weapon. Sanji and Jinbe prepare a finishing move against the giant Wadatsumi. Chopper transforms into his monster form and drops into the fight as Usopp protests the extreme change.
