Chapter 740 summary
Luffy bursts through the crumbling stone walls of the royal palace and shouts in alarm while Violet stands nearby with a worried expression. The walls shift according to Pica's will and create dead ends throughout the floor. Luffy leaps forward and declares that Zoro can handle anything as Violet questions whether he will be all right. On the same floor Zoro draws his swords and slashes through massive stone structures controlled by Pica but grows frustrated that he cannot inflict real damage. A diagram labels the positions of fighters across the palace floors including Doflamingo and Law above and the dwarfs below. Gladius lunges at the dwarfs on the first floor and they argue over strategy before charging to pincer him while Kabu and Rampo create an opening.
