One Piece Chapter 869: Under Siege

A massive castle-like structure labeled 'EMERGENCY REFUGE!' towers in the background as characters shout 'GET IN THE CASTLE!'. On the left, a bearded man in a tall hat reacts with shock. Below, a close-up shows a wide-open mouth screaming 'AAAA AAAHH HHHH!' with heavy impact lines. In the next panels, several pirates argue urgently: 'WE CAN'T LEAVE HIM OR CAESAR ALIVE!', 'WAS THAT YOUR PLAN FROM THE GET-GOI!', and 'BEGE! YOU BASTARD! I SAW YOU! YOU WERE PLOTTING TO KILL MAMA! WHY YOU...'. The scene is filled with motion lines, debris, and frantic expressions as the group reacts to betrayal.

Multiple panels show chaotic action. A close-up of a wide-eyed face with an exclamation mark appears beside a sweating man clutching round objects and saying 'MOCHII'. Another panel shows a man with a rose on his coat covering his ears, exclaiming 'MY EARDRUMS CAN'T TAKE MUCH MORE...'. A character yells 'THE TAMATE-BAKO!' as smoke and impact effects erupt. A large shadowy figure looms with 'SPOOF!' and heavy breathing 'HAA... HAA...'. In the final spread, several figures including a straw-hatted man with a shocked expression are blasted backward by an explosion. A determined figure leaps forward shouting 'INTO THE CASTLE!' amid flying debris and motion lines.

A massive impact rocks the scene as a cloaked fighter is slammed hard, the sound "GLOMP!" echoing with "グキッ!" SFX. The attacker’s leg swings through the air while the victim reels back with a shocked "!I". Below, a chained figure in a dark cloak lunges forward amid smoke and debris near a broken gate. In the next panels, a woman with a massive sword stands tall, gripping the blade as a man in a heavy fur-collared coat staggers nearby. An armored figure lies sprawled on the ground while background fighters react in panic. Someone shouts, "GET INTO BIG FATHER!" as the chaos intensifies around the ruined courtyard.

Explosive motion fills the page as a cloaked fighter is hurled through the air amid "ドドドド!!" and "!!!" impact lines. A small figure in a hat watches from the side. Nami appears in close-up, eyes wide with alarm. In the center, a blonde woman in a revealing outfit swings a staff-like weapon while shouting "KYAH!", striking a horned, muscular man who recoils with a gaping mouth. A tiny figure yells "NAMI!". Nearby, a long-haired woman glares sharply. Below, the horned man laughs wildly "WA CHACHA CHA!" as a helmeted fighter and a large-mouthed character scream "WAA AAH!" amid swirling debris and frantic background fighters.

A tall figure in a striped hat licks his lips with "LICK" while a long-haired silhouette stands before a distant white-coated man on a raised platform. In the next row, a long-haired woman examines a black device marked "1" as a masked, armored man glares intensely with "GLARE" and a white-haired man points with "POINT". Below, a skull-faced fighter and others clash with loud "CLANK CLANK" sounds. The long-haired woman turns with a calm "NOD" as the battle rages around them.

Mechanical panels click rapidly with multiple "CLICK" and "CLICK!" sounds as numbered cylinders spin and shift. A white-coated man stands ready while a massive "WHIRRRRRRR!" erupts from the spinning mechanism. A close-up shows a face twisted in strain amid flying debris and impact marks. Below, spiraling energy coils around a figure as "バチリリリ" and "ビリビリビリ" SFX crackle violently. A hand reaches desperately while a woman with short hair is caught in a blinding explosion of light and force, her body flung backward.

The Germa 66 strike team lands in dramatic formation. Ichiji, Niji, Yonji, and Reiju stand ready in their raid suits as massive stylized letters spell out GERMA 66. A small panel shows a wide-eyed observer reacting with "!!I". In the lower panels, the assault begins. Someone shouts "EAT THIS!" as an explosion erupts. Judge grins fiercely while declaring, "THAT'S RIGHT... GERMA SCIENCE! SO THAT'S THEIR SHAPE-MEMORY ARMOR... I CAN'T BELIEVE IT DOESN'T EVEN BURN...". On the far left, a candy-based fighter yells, "TO FREEZE YOU ALL UP ONCE MORE! I'LL JUST USE MY CANDY" as a sticky glob lands with a "GLOOP".

The Germa siblings unleash their signature attacks in rapid succession. Reiju's "POISON PINK" fills the air with toxic streams while Niji's "DENGEKI BLUE" crackles with electricity. Yonji's "WINCH GREEN" arm extends and grabs foes. Ichiji's "SPARKING RED" delivers blazing punches. A massive explosion sends bodies flying as one pirate cries "GLORP!" amid the chaos. The four siblings press forward through the Big Mom Pirates' ranks with overwhelming force.

Sanji and Pudding tumble through the air after a heavy impact marked "THUMP". Reiju appears beside them, smiling as she checks on the group. Below, a massive explosion rocks the area while a cloaked figure with a top hat and mask is hurled backward. Sanji looks on with concern as the battle rages around them.

Big Mom's subordinate clutches the Tamatebako, laughing "KUKUKU! WHAT WONDERFUL CHAOS!" He gloats, "MY, MY! THE FAMED SECRET TREASURE ITSELF!" and "I DOUBT ANYONE'LL SEE ME OPEN THIS AFTER HAVING CARRIED IT ALL THE WAY OUT HERE!" as he begins to lift the lid. The box creaks open with "CREAK". A blinding flash erupts with "BRRROOO!!!" as the subordinate is blasted away, eyes wide in shock. A hand reaches desperately toward the exploding box while another figure stares in horror at the aftermath.

A massive fist smashes forward as a wide-eyed figure is hurled back amid shattering stone. The man in the top hat and cigar glares with fury, teeth clenched around his smoke. Explosions erupt violently; debris and smoke fill the air as the castle structure cracks. In the bottom panel the same cigar-smoking man in the hat shouts while the castle reels from impact. A voice yells, "CANDY WALL!" as candy-like barriers form and shatter under the force of the blow.

Perospero grins wickedly, sweat on his face, declaring, "SO YOU WERE WORKING WITH THE GERMA, TOO, HUH... AHH... BETRAYAL STINGS. BRACE YOURSELVES, YOU BASTARDS. PERO-RIN~♪ PERO-SPERO!" He readies an attack from another angle, shouting, "FROM ANOTHER ANGLE, I'LL JUST SHOOT YOU!" A massive "CLUNK" echoes as his strike lands. Nearby voices cry out, "WHAT THE HELL WAS THATI!" and "ALL CANNONS THROUGHOUT THE CASTLE APPEAR TO BE... FATHER!"

Panic spreads across the besieged castle. A voice shouts, "DOG-TOOTH!" while another yells, "WE CANNOT FIRE!" and "STUFFED WITH MOCHI!" Figures struggle, declaring, "WE CAN'T MOVE A MUSCLE!" and "BIG FATHER'S ARMS AND LEGS HAVE BEEN TRAPPED IN CANDY!" One ally responds, "UNDERSTOOD! I'VE GOT MY OWN BAD NEWS FOR THE WHOLE BUILDING..." The scene widens to show the castle completely surrounded. Narration and shouts confirm, "WE'RE BEING PRESSED INTO AN UTTERLY HOPELESS SITUATION! WE'RE UNDER SIEGE!" and "WE'RE SURROUNDED BY THE PIRATE CREW OF THE YONKOU BIG MOM!"

Inside the massive Big Father castle, chaos reigns. A voice notes, "POISONI THAT WOMAN'S SOME TROUBLE, INDEED." Another growls, "BEAT THEM UP ALREADY! EVERY LAST ONE OF THEM!" Brulee cries, "I-I'M A VICTIM HERE! BROTHER!" while others warn, "THEY SURE DID MAKE THE MOST OF YOU, BRULEE... THE MOMENT ANY OF THEM STEP FOOT OUTSIDE, THEY'LL BE DEAD WHERE THEY STAND." A label reads "INSIDE BIG FATHER." Bege, cloaked, stands amid allies as someone exclaims, "THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I'VE MUCKED UP AN ASSASSINATION... DAMN IT ALL... OUR ASSASSINATION PLOT, ONE WHOLE YEAR IN THE MAKING, WENT UP IN SMOKE! THIS AIN'T THE TIME TO BE SINGIN' AND DANCIN'! LOOK AROUND YOU! YOU'RE AMAZING, BEGE! I DIDN'T KNOW YOU COULD TURN INTO SUCH A HUGE CASTLE!"

Big Mom's massive face twists in rage as she bellows, "EVERY LAST ONE OF YOU, GET OUT HEREEEE EEEEE!" A massive "BIG MOM'S REGAINED HER SENSES!" caption explodes across the panel. In the castle halls, terrified allies including a wide-eyed Pudding and others react in horror. "IF THIS CASTLE GETS DESTROYED, I DIE. AND IF THAT HAPPENS, THE CASTLE DISAPPEARS, YOU ALL GET TOSSED OUTSIDE AS MONSTER CHOW!" one shouts. Another warns, "THIS CASTLE IS LITERALLY ME! IT'S PRETTY STURDY, BUT IT ISN'T IMPREGNABLE!" Bege, sweating and gripping his weapon, snaps back at the chaos, "NOW ISN'T THE TIME FOR CALM CHIT-CHAT, DAMN IT! HAVEN'T YOU FIGURED THAT OUTI!" as allies debate their next move. A sudden betrayal unfolds as Big Mom's hand lunges forward; "YOU... DID YOU TRY TO BETRAY ME, BEGEI!" she roars. "DEATH TO TRAITORS!" A massive explosion erupts with "GYAH!" and "SHOW YOURSELVES, YOU BAS-TARDS!" as Bege's allies are blasted outward. "GET OUT!" "OUT-SIDE!" voices scream while the castle structure crumbles. Bege's crew stares in shock, one yelling "OI, BEGE! WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED ALL OF A SUDDENI!" as debris flies and the group is hurled into the open.

A vibrant color splash page opens with the massive white ONE PIECE logo at the top. Below it, Monkey D. Luffy swings energetically through a lush jungle canopy on a vine, wearing his straw hat, blue shirt, pink shorts, and backpack, mouth open in excitement. To his right, a smiling young woman with long dark hair and a pink hooded jacket with fur trim waves one arm upward. In the background, several other figures tumble or swing among the trees and vines as bright sunlight streams down through the leaves.
