Bartolomeo
Bartolomeo is the captain of the Barto Club pirate crew. He rose to fame in the New World within one year through acts of brutality that made him the most hated pirate among spectators. Bartolomeo possesses the Bari Bari no Mi and uses its powers to shield allies while defeating opponents in competition. His allegiance lies with the Straw Hat Grand Fleet as a devoted follower of Luffy, whom he regards as the future Pirate King, and his goals center on supporting Luffy without involving him in personal conflicts.
Bartolomeo maintains a barrier around areas during confrontations and commands the Going Senpai ship. He is recognized for protecting sections of audiences and comrades alike while refusing to let his actions endanger Luffy-senpai even under threat of poison.
Appearance
Bartolomeo stands with spiky hair and wears an open shirt along with checkered pants under a fur-trimmed coat. His fierce grin reveals sharp teeth during confrontations and he often sticks out his tongue while laughing wildly at crowds. Bartolomeo states there is no need to be liked by shitheads and laughs wildly when spectators reject him. Bartolomeo thanks Luffy profusely for existing and vows to give his life if useful to Luffy-senpai. He refuses to involve Luffy-senpai when ordered to deliver poison and instead bites the vial himself while pleading for forgiveness over a foolish mistake.67

Bartolomeo controlled 150 towns as an underworld boss before witnessing Luffy on the Loguetown execution platform two years ago. He kept articles about the Strawhat crew after Marineford and followed events including Alabasta, Enies Lobby, and Impel Down.11

Bartolomeo enters the ring in Lucy disguise and later joins the charge toward Doflamingo. Bartolomeo protects Luffy from Cavendish and passionately declares Luffy will bear the weight of the generation as future Pirate King.
