Cavendish
Cavendish is a pirate captain known as the nobleman pirate Cavendish of the White Horse and also as Balto Romeo. He leads the Beautiful Pirate Crew with a bounty of 280 million berries and entered the Corrida Colosseum competition without a Devil Fruit to claim the Mera Mera no Mi because it suits his beauty and genius. Cavendish resents Luffy and other post-war rookies for stealing media attention after he stirred the world as a beautiful rookie three years earlier with a bounty over 200 million berries.
Cavendish participates in the tournament while displaying his sword skills and interacts with fighters including Bartolomeo and Rebecca. He later joins efforts against Doflamingo and becomes part of the Straw Hat Grand Fleet as representative of the Beautiful Pirates.
Appearance
Cavendish has long wavy hair and wears noble attire including a black hat with white polka dots, long coat, frilled shirt and high boots. He often lounges on an ornate throne-like chair while holding a rose with sparkles around him and maintains an elegant posture with legs crossed while seated.12
During the tournament Cavendish rides his white horse Farul while wearing an ornate hat, long cape and ruffled collar and holds a drawn sword overhead. His face shows half-lidded eyes and a slight smile in close-up views.32
Personality
Cavendish identifies as a noble from the country of Doelena and demands respect while dismissing interruptions from those he considers beneath him. He explains that the colosseum is a show meant to excite the crowd with blood and fallen gladiators and declares that a warrior's life is not for amusement.45
Cavendish resents Luffy and post-war rookies for taking media attention after his own rise as a beautiful rookie. He states he would kill Luffy immediately if he were the real Straw Hat Luffy and rages over the worst generation name that kept accompanying the new rookies.67
Cavendish shows a split personality with Hakuba who hacks and kills every living thing around him indiscriminately while Cavendish himself is a prodigy at swordplay. He argues with Hakuba over control and requests release after regaining partial control during confrontations.89
