The Ngl arc of Hunter × Hunter runs chapters 189 to 213 — 25 chapters and 396 pages, each read page by page. It opens: Finally, the mysterious NGL!!! The massive roots of an enormous tree dominate the landscape as the Hunter × Hunter logo appears. Two robed officials stand at the entrance. A woman in a hat and coat holds up an ID and states, "A SPECIMEN OF A RESTRICTED SPECIES WE'RE LOOKING FOR SEEMS TO HAVE ESCAPED TO YOUR COUNTRY." One official replies, "BUSINESS." The other asks, "WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF YOUR VISIT?" Below, inside the hollowed-out tree base filled with natural wooden structures and computers, a guide gestures and says, "PLEASE WALK THIS WAY." Gon, Killua, and Biscuit stand among the officials and staff as they prepare to enter deeper into the facility.
