Greed Island arc

The Greed Island arc of Hunter × Hunter runs chapters 136 to 188 — 53 chapters and 841 pages, each read page by page. It opens: Gon and Killua stand in a rocky cavern facing a massive spotted lizard creature that looms from the stone wall with a single glaring eye. The beast lets out a deep rumble as it shifts. In the next panels the creature has withdrawn, leaving only faint traces on the rocks. Gon remarks that the lizard was only level A. Killua wonders if the giant cyclops was the only G-level threat and suggests the others may have forgotten to assign a weakness. Gon insists that no matter how much they attack, it would do nothing to the creature. They decide their goal is Masadora, reasoning that they can beat the target if they can see it and run if its attacks prove too dangerous.
