Chapter 1022 summary
The raid on Onigashima continues as the alliance reduces the Beast Pirates' advantage after defeating the Flying Six. Onigashima drifts toward the Flower Capital with only fifteen minutes left. On the third floor Raizo battles Fukurokuju, who uses clone and earlobe techniques while declaring loyalty to the current shogun, but Raizo invokes his bond with Kozuki Oden and vows to end Orochi and Kaido's rule for a new dawn under Momonosuke. On the second floor Killer fights Hawkins, who reveals that one of his straw dolls protects Eustass Kid during his battle with Big Mom alongside Trafalgar Law, trapping Killer in a moral dilemma. On the live floor King and Queen attack traitors while hunting the recovering Roronoa Zoro. Nekomamushi drags Perospero away to avenge Pedro. Marco blocks King to protect Zoro, then steps back as Zoro's treatment takes effect. Zoro and Sanji strike together, sending King and Queen flying, and declare that victory will bring Monkey D. Luffy closer to becoming King of the Pirates.
