Three young boys from the Usopp Pirate Group, Ninjin, Piiman, and Tamanegi, are running frantically down a dirt path in the village. SFX: running sounds. Tamanegi, wearing glasses, says, "CAPTAIN BROUGHT THE PIRATES HERE!" and "YUP, I SAW THEM". The three boys peek cautiously around the corner of a building. SFX: rustle. Piiman asks, "HEY TAMANEGI! DID THE PIRATES REALLY GO INTO THIS SHOP?" Ninjin, holding a wooden sword, declares, "THIS IS GOING TO BE THE MOST DANGEROUS BATTLE SINCE WE STARTED THE 'USOPP PIRATE GROUP'!" Tamanegi panics, "IDIOT! IT'S ONIBABA THAT EATS PEOPLE!! NINJIN, YOU MUST BE WILLING TO DIE!" Piiman adds, "BUT REAL PIRATES ARE SAVAGES, HE MIGHT HAVE BEEN EATEN...!! WE MUST SAVE HIM!!" A small note at the bottom explains: "ONIBABA MEANS DEMON HAG OR WITCH".

The three boys burst through the swinging doors of the restaurant. SFX: "SLAM!!" and "BA--N". They yell, "IS HERE!!" but then stop in confusion, saying, "EH?" "?" "USOPP PIRATE GROUP...". They look around in shock, sweating. "IT CAN'T BE THAT... HE'S BEEN EATEN UP...!!" "HEY... CAPTAIN ISN'T HERE...". At a table, Luffy is casually drinking from a cup, while Nami looks over. Luffy asks, "WHO ARE THEY...?" and Nami replies, "I DON'T KNOW", "WHAT...?". Zoro turns around in his chair to look at the kids. The boys point their wooden swords at the crew and yell, "GIVE US BACK OUR CAPTAIN!!" "WHAT DID YOU DO TO OUR CAPTAIN USOPP?!" "H... HEY PIRATES!!"

Nami smiles sweetly at the boys, saying, "HUH... MEAT...?! CHIHI!" The boys recoil in terror, "HE..HE ATE THE CAPTAIN...?!". Luffy continues eating happily, "WHAT A DELICIOUS MEAT! YUM YUM! PROK...". Zoro leans his head on his hand, giving a sinister, shadowed smile. SFX: "DO--N". He says simply, "ATE HIM". The boys are paralyzed with fear. "WE JUST..." "WH... WHAT?! WHAT DID YOU DO...!?" "YOUR CAPTAIN...". In the next panel, the boys run away screaming at the top of their lungs, "GYAAAAAA- AAAAHHHHH! ONIBABA!! AAAA....!!!" Zoro and Luffy burst into laughter, "HAHA HAHA HAHA HAHA!!" Nami, enraged with sharp shark teeth, hits them both on the head. "BAM!" She yells, "WHY DID YOU TELL THEM THOSE WEIRD THINGS?!? WHY ARE YOU LOOKING AT ME?!!"

Nami asks, "'IT'S THAT TIME AGAIN'...?". Luffy asks the boys, "WHY DOES HE GO THERE?" One of the boys replies, "YUP". Nami realizes, "MANSION? THE PLACE WHERE THE SICK GIRL LIVES?" A boy confirms, "OH, SO IT WAS TIME TO GO TO THE MANSION". Luffy looks confused, "EEEH?". The boys enthusiastically explain, "YES!! IT'S VERY GOOD!!" "NA!" "THAT'S NOT BAD! ACTUALLY, IT'S GREAT!" Klahadore adjusts his glasses again, SFX: "SRET SRET", and says, "ALL THIS IS FOR YOUR OWN GOOD, OJOUSAMA!". Kaya smiles faintly and replies, "OKAY...". Klahadore turns to leave the room, placing a tray on a table. "I'LL PUT YOUR MEDICINE HERE, PLEASE TAKE IT. I'M GLAD YOU UNDERSTAND". The door closes with a "SLAM..!"

Outside, Usopp is sitting comfortably on a tree branch right next to her window. He says, "NEVER MIND, I FEEL COMFORTABLE HERE. THE SOMBERNESS OF THE ROOM WILL SUFFOCATE ME. IT'S NOT LIKE YOU ARE A BAD PERSON. BUT CLAHA-DOR WON'T ALLOW IT...". Kaya looks apologetic, "I'M SORRY. I WANTED TO TREAT YOU LIKE A PROPER GUEST...". Usopp begins his tall tale, "ABOUT THE TIME WHEN I WAS FIVE AND FOUGHT WITH A SOUTHERN GIANT GOLDFISH.....!!" Kaya asks, "GOLD-FISH?". Usopp continues, "LET'S SEE, TODAY I WILL TELL YOU...". Kaya smiles brightly, leaning out the window. "ARE YOU GOING TO TELL ME TODAY? SO WHICH ADVENTURE..." SFX: excited rustling. Kaya covers her mouth, laughing in delight. Usopp looks intense as he narrates, "I THOUGHT IT WAS LAND AND EVEN DOCKED THERE...... THE MOST AMAZING THING WAS ITS FECES, IT WAS VERY VERY BIG AND VERY VERY LONG". The scene cuts to a close-up of Luffy's face, looking absolutely amazed. He exclaims, "HE'S A GREAT GUY! WOW!" SFX: "DO--N".

Back at the restaurant, the boys are talking to Nami. One boy says, "I LIKE HIS 'NOSINESS'". Another agrees, "YUP". Nami rests her chin on her hand, "HE'S BEEN GOING FOR A YEAR TO AMUSE HER WITH MADE UP TALES? SO TO RESTORE HER SPIRITS,". The boys smile proudly, "YEAH, AND IT'S ALL THANKS TO THE CAPTAIN!" "SO THE LADY IS FEELING BETTER ALREADY?". Luffy picks his nose and asks, "WHAT KIND OF STRONG POINTS ARE THOSE?". The boys reply, "I LIKE HIS 'LIES'!!" "I LIKE THE CAPTAIN'S 'COWARDICE'". Luffy suddenly stands up with a wide grin. Nami yells, "NO!! DIDN'T YOU JUST SAY YOU'D GIVE IT UP?". Luffy declares, "THEN WE SHALL GO TO THE MANSION AND ASK FOR A SHIP!!! ALL RIGHT!!" SFX: "DO--N".

Luffy's group arrives at the mansion gates. Luffy shouts, "PLEASE LEND US A SHIP... GOOD AFTERNOON," SFX: "DO--N". Zoro and Nami stand behind him, looking exasperated. Zoro says, "SINCE WE CAN'T STOP HIM, WE'LL HAVE TO FOLLOW HIM". Nami sighs, holding her head, "SIGH, WE CAN'T STOP HIM!" SFX: sigh. Luffy casually climbs over the iron gate. SFX: climbing and clattering. One of the boys asks, "THEN WHAT'S THE USE OF THAT GREETING?". Luffy replies, "LET'S JUST GO IN...". Inside the mansion, a sheep-headed butler named Merry is talking to Klahadore. Merry says, "WELL...... THEY JUST WENT OUT FOR LUNCH...!!". Klahadore looks stressed, holding his head, "TRESPASSERS? WHERE ARE THE GUARDS? WHAT?"

Usopp is still telling his story to Kaya. The boys yell from below, "CAAAPTAIN!!" "YES, CAPTAI...". Usopp ignores them, continuing, "AND UP TO THIS DAY THEY STILL HAVEN'T BEEN ABLE TO FINISH EATING IT. THEN, BECAUSE OF MY GREAT POWERS, THEY ALL CALLED ME...". He adds, "WELL THEN I SLICED IT UP INTO LITTLE PIECES, AND SENT THEM TO THE COUNTRY OF THE DWARVES...". Kaya laughs, "HAHAHAHA... SO WHAT HAPPENED TO THE GOLDFISH?". Luffy looks up at the window and says, "OH! SO YOU'RE THE OJOUSAMA?". Usopp looks down, shocked to see the group. He points at them, "WE BROUGHT THIS GUY HERE... WHO'S THAT? WHY ARE YOU ALL HERE?! HUH!!" SFX: pointing. Zoro starts to say, "NO! THAT'S NOT...!!" but Luffy interrupts, "YEAH!!". Usopp quickly lies to cover up, "THEY ARE THE NEW MEMBERS OF THE USOPP PIRATE GROUP!! THESE GUYS HEARD OF MY REPUTATION, AND TRAVELLED FAR TO SEE ME HERE".

Usopp sweats nervously, "CLAHADOR... URG! THE BUTLER,!". Klahadore glares at the group, "YOU CAN'T JUST BARGE INTO THE MANSION LIKE THIS!!" SFX: turning and footsteps. One of the boys asks, "WHO'S HE?". Klahadore stares them down, "OR IS THERE SOMETHING YOU NEED TO SAY? PLEASE GET OUT!". He adjusts his glasses and says, "YOU DON'T HAVE TO EXPLAIN! I WILL ASK YOU ABOUT IT LATER". Kaya tries to intervene from the window, "LISTEN CLAHADOR, THESE PEOPLE ARE..."

Usopp is shocked, "WHAT?!". Klahadore continues, "HAHAHA... I SEE THAT YOU CAN CERTAINLY LIE WELL! I HAVE HEARD ABOUT YOUR FATHER TOO...". Usopp glares, sweating profusely, "......... DID YOU SAY FILTHY....?!". Luffy looks surprised, "HIS DAD WAS A PIRATE?.........!!". Zoro and Nami watch silently. Klahadore adds, "IS IT MONEY THAT YOU'RE LOOKING FOR? NAME YOUR PRICE. Kaya yells angrily from her window, "APOLOGIZE TO USOPP-SAN AT ONCE!! THAT'S ENOUGH CLAHADOR!!!". She looks deeply distressed, screaming, "CLAHADOR!!!". Klahadore adjusts his glasses and says, "BECAUSE HE'S A 'DUMB TREASURE HUNTER' WHO DESERTED HIS FAMILY AND VILLAGE! I FEEL SORRY FOR YOU... YOU HATE YOUR FATHER, DON'T YOU?". He smirks, "AND SAY THAT YOUR REAL FATHER IS A TRAVELLING MERCHANT... OR THAT YOU AND HIM ARE NOT BLOOD-RELATED... YOU SHOULD HAVE JUST TOLD YOUR USUAL LIES... WHY ARE YOU SO ANGRY? Usopp leaps forward and delivers a powerful punch directly to Klahadore's face, sending his glasses flying and knocking him backward. SFX: "DOGOON". Usopp screams, "SHUT UP!!!!". Klahadore falls to the ground, wiping blood from his mouth, and sneers, "LIKE FATHER, LIKE SON!! UH.... GRH!! SEE... YOU'RE SO VIOLENT!". Usopp stands over him, furious, repeating, "SHUT UP!!!!". Luffy watches the scene with a serious expression. Kaya covers her mouth in shock from her window. The three boys yell in panic, "CAPTAIN!". Zoro and Nami observe the confrontation silently.
