Appearance
Mohji the lion tamer has round nose, fur-collared coat, and wild hair. He wears a striped shirt and headband in later appearances while maintaining the fur-trimmed coat and visible beard. Mohji stands atop the lion with arms crossed in confident pose during rallies.12

Personality
Mohji addresses the Buggy Pirates directly in an aggressive tone to rally them. He orders the Wild Animal Show with commanding mood and declares it is time for Mohji's Wild Animal Show with showman intent. Mohji angrily insists his hair is not a costume and denies it being fake when questioned.45
Mohji threatens Luffy while noting he feels safe only because of the cage. He claims he can control any animal including the dog and calls Luffy a nobody thief after the dog attack. Mohji demands location of Roronoa Zoro while dismissing Luffy.5

Buggy's Pirate Crew consists of Mohji, Buggy, and Cabaji. Buggy's crew panel shows Mohji, Buggy, and Cabaji around a map with lion Richie. Mohji addresses the Buggy Pirates directly and rides on lion Richie while addressing Luffy.678

Mohji orders lion Richie to attack and kill Luffy. Richie lunges to bite Luffy on Mohji's command and Richie and Mohji are knocked backward by the impact. Mohji yells that Luffy should be dead and questions how he survived the previous attack.52324
Luffy lands a direct punch on Mohji's face and Mohji coughs from the impact of the blow. Mohji uses his cannon arm to kick Luffy away and Luffy is launched backward by the force of Mohji's attack.25
Orange Town
Mohji runs away in absolute terror with tears streaming down his face while Luffy stretches both arms to grab him. Luffy slams Mohji headfirst into the ground with a massive impact that buries his upper body in the dirt and leaves his legs sticking straight up.26

Mohji and lion Richie confront Luffy's group in a large splash panel while appearing enraged at the bottom of the page. Mohji and Richie are blasted through the air together with Luffy and Cabaji.2728
Mohji attempts to burn the Going Merry in heavy rain but slips on wet cobblestones and falls backward after being startled by a shout. Usopp fires an egg that hits the ground near Mohji who is already knocked out from the fall while Richie the lion remains to confront the attackers.29
