Tamanegi wears a striped hat and a matching striped shirt along with glasses that often become crooked during moments of alarm. His small frame and dynamic motion are highlighted when he sprints along village paths or leaps between tree branches.12

Personality
Tamanegi displays a pattern of sudden panic and rapid flight when delivering warnings about danger. He bursts into scenes yelling about incoming pirates and later flees while screaming that the situation is bad.34

Later Tamanegi rejoins the group after leaving during a discussion and reports further developments while fleeing, including sightings of the butler from the mansion moving through the forest.78
Tamanegi participates in the crew's ambush on Kuro and is subsequently pursued through the forest by members of the Black Cat Pirates before being seized by Jango.9
