Chapter 247 summary
Luffy, Sanji, and Usopp stand in the dense forest as Satori bounces among floating orbs and calls out to them. Luffy stretches his arm and fires a Gomu Gomu Pistol at Satori, who dodges and yanks Luffy into a tree trunk. Usopp spots the Going Merry above them and fires a projectile to help Sanji reach it, but one of Satori's orbs flies at Sanji and explodes on impact. Luffy launches a Gomu Gomu Gatling that strikes the orbs instead, sending them flying and triggering traps that release birds, arrows, crabs, and scalding water. Luffy falls toward a river below but catches a vine, while Usopp swings on a rope toward the ship only to realize he is tied to it and swing back empty-handed. Sanji begins to issue orders when Satori appears behind them on an orb. Luffy shouts a warning as Satori delivers an open-palm strike to Sanji's back.
