King Wapol
King Wapol is the former ruler of Drum Kingdom who fled after failing to resist invading pirates and later became captain of the Tin Can King Pirates. He uses the Baku Baku Fruit to consume weapons armor and other materials which he merges into his body or transforms into structures and vehicles. Wapol is known for returning to Drum Kingdom to reclaim his throne attacking the Straw Hat crew and later ruling the Bad Black Drum Kingdom after amassing wealth.
Appearance
King Wapol wears a black top hat long black coat and striped pants along with a thick fur coat and spiked armor during encounters at sea. He carries a quiver of arrows on his back and displays a thick mustache with a stern facial expression while standing on water or ship railings.1
Wapol appears in spiked crown fur-trimmed coat and striped arm guards when mounted on his White Walkie wooly hippo in snowy terrain. His large silhouette dominates scenes as he stands on castle grounds or rides his throne vehicle.2
Personality
King Wapol shows boastful behavior by laughing triumphantly after ambushes and declaring his submersible ship superior while waving casually at opponents. He quickly panics at the sight of stronger pirate vessels yet demands poses or treasures regardless of the situation.34
Wapol reveals cowardice by abandoning Drum Kingdom upon seeing Blackbeard pirates and later fleeing after defeats while claiming the country and its people are all sick. He dismisses concerns about his rule and strikes others during meetings before leaving abruptly.5

King Wapol possesses the Baku Baku Fruit which lets him rapidly consume weapons armor and metal objects with repeated bites before merging them into his body or new forms. He activates the Baku Baku Factory after meals to transform into structures such as the Wapol House or armored Slim-Up Wapol.67
