Chapter 252 summary
Nami, Zoro, and Robin reach ancient stone ruins in the forest where Nami celebrates finding the golden city while dismissing any concern for the island's god. Elsewhere Gan Fall clashes with Wyper until Wyper fires a bazooka that engulfs them in smoke. On the Crow boat Usopp, Sanji, and Luffy sail toward a plain lined with skulls and come under attack from Wyper and other Shandia warriors who fire on them before flying off with a warning to leave the island. The crew arrives at the Sacrificial Altar to find the Going Merry damaged and Chopper shaken but unharmed after Gan Fall intervened. Gan Fall rests inside the ship while the crew sets up camp in the forest as night falls. Usopp summarizes the reports confirming the island is the golden city sought by the Saruyama Alliance. The group debates the threats from Enel and the Shandia while noting the presence of treasure. Luffy declares they will search for gold.
