Yet Oars lies in the rubble below, groaning, "Ow, ow, ow...!!!" The crew stands around him as he realizes what happened. His face hardens with humiliation and rage: "You bastards!!! Now you've got me mad! I'll send you flying!!!" The victory is temporary, not final. They have knocked the monster down, but now he understands they can hurt and embarrass him.
