After Sanji joins the crew the group sails onward with Yosaku still emotional over the farewell at Baratie. Luffy insists on retrieving Nami so they can enter the Grand Line while Yosaku warns them about the dangers ahead and explains the Ouka Shichibukai including the fishman Jinbe and his former ally Arlong.

THAT GEEZER SAID THAT...I" Luffy stands with his back to the viewer, addressing the crew inside the ship cabin: "NOT TO MENTION OUR DESTINATION AS WELL! On the deck of the Going Merry, Luffy stares in shock at the sky as a massive fish-man looms nearby. "THE PROBLEM IS WITH ANOTHER ONE OF THE SHICHIBUKAI," the fish-man states. Luffy yells, "WOAH! THERE'S 7 OF THESE GUYS!I THOSE SHICHIBUKAI GUYS ARE AMAZING!" Sanji sits calmly with a cigarette, listening. In the next panels, Sanji smirks and asks about mermaids while Luffy sits cross-legged. Chapter 69 summary

After Sanji joins the crew the group sails onward with Yosaku still emotional over the farewell at Baratie. Luffy insists on retrieving Nami so they can enter the Grand Line while Yosaku warns them about the dangers ahead and explains the Ouka Shichibukai including the fishman Jinbe and his former ally Arlong. Yosaku reveals that Nami stared at Arlong's wanted poster before departing and concludes she is headed to Arlong Park. The scene shifts to Arlong Park where Marine Captain Nezumi collects a payment from Arlong and departs with help from Hatchan. A boy rushes the gate vowing to kill Arlong but Nami blocks him defeats him with her staff and gives him money to leave. Nami enters the courtyard Arlong welcomes her back and the fishmen prepare a feast as she stands among them with their tattoo on her shoulder. Zoro and Johnny arrive by boat and spot the fortress.
