Don Krieg wears full spiked steel armor with large shoulder plates and a black cape featuring white fur trim and a skull emblem. A sign around his neck reads PIRATE FLEET ADMIRAL DON KRIEG while a leopard-print shirt shows beneath his open fur-trimmed coat. He also appears in tattered clothing with a headband and bandaged face during moments of exhaustion.12

His massive frame fills doorways and he carries a large ornate shield with skull emblem along with spiked gauntlets. Close views reveal striped headband details and earring on his face during intense expressions.34

Don Krieg maintains a boastful and dominant demeanor that asserts his superiority in every battle and over his crew. He laughs mockingly when weak and declares himself the strongest while refusing any challenge to his authority.56

He rules through fear and immediate violence against any dissent from subordinates while insisting that final results alone decide strength. Don Krieg shows no hesitation in discarding loyalty when orders are disobeyed.78

Krieg repeatedly asserts that victory alone determines worth and that any subordinate who disobeys must be eliminated on the spot to demonstrate proper leadership. He laughs at the notion of mercy and insists his past successes prove he will continue winning regardless of injury.910

When confronted with total defeat Don Krieg refuses to accept the outcome and continues shouting declarations of supremacy even while bleeding heavily until a former subordinate strikes him down.10

Don Krieg equips his body with hidden guns that fire from armor during combat and a diamond-studded gauntlet for powerful strikes. His steel armor withstands attacks while he claims it exceeds any other man's durability.116

He wields a skull-emblazoned shield containing poison gas bombs and a great war spear that explodes on impact with increasing force. Don Krieg also deploys a rotating spear and gatling gun from his armored arm.1213

Krieg equips his armor with shoulder cannons that unleash rapid gunfire and a rotating spear whose tip can be broken yet still leaves him threatening further explosive strikes. He also carries a Kenzan Cape covered in spikes that serves both as defense and an offensive net.141516

Don Krieg addresses Zeff with mocking recognition of his former pirate identity and demands the Grand Line logbook while questioning how the cook survived shipwreck and the loss of his red shoes. Zeff refuses to hand over the valuable item and claims continued superiority despite returning defeated from the same sea. The exchange reveals Don Krieg's intent to steal the log by force after acknowledging Zeff's past reputation.21

Krieg views Luffy as an insignificant obstacle who interrupts his demands for the Baratie ship and logbook yet challenges him directly over fitness to become Pirate King. He threatens to kill Luffy for continued talk and later deploys weapons against him while declaring that final results alone determine strength. The crew reacts with outrage when Luffy calls them weaklings and Don Krieg prepares poison gas to end the confrontation.2223

Don Krieg overpowered multiple Baratie cooks in one motion while firing hidden guns from his armor and declaring his body a finely tuned weapon. He demanded food preparation under threat after boasting command of fifty ships.11

Krieg confronted Luffy directly after the latter declared intent to become Pirate King and later deployed poison gas and multiple weapons including cannon arm and gatling gun. Luffy ultimately knocked him unconscious with a bare-fisted strike through the spiked cape.2425
