Pearl
Pearl is the 2nd Division Commander of the Krieg Pirates. He serves under Don Krieg and participates in the crew's attempt to seize control of the Baratie restaurant. Pearl is known for his extensive use of shields in combat and for his undefeated record of 61 fights without injury prior to his encounters at the Baratie.
Appearance
Pearl wears spiked armor and carries multiple attached shields as both weapon and defense. His armored form includes a flowing cape and a helmet that covers much of his head. Pearl's posture during confrontations is aggressive, with shields held ready and spikes prominently displayed.12
When Pearl ignites his armor the flames emerge from gaps between the iron shields. His round shield-like armor pieces remain visible even amid smoke and fire effects during battles on the Baratie deck.34
Personality
Pearl frequently boasts about his invincible iron wall and questions whether he appears stylish while striking dramatic poses. He reacts with visible shock and panic upon noticing any blood on himself, leading to extreme defensive measures.56
Pearl mocks opponents as lazy for relying on specific body parts and insists his full-body protection proves superior strength. He grows furious when his battle record faces tarnish and refuses to accept conditions that treat him as a subordinate.57

Pearl's primary technique involves spinning his massive shields to create an iron wall defense that he claims can withstand a direct blast from a battleship cannon. He augments this defense by igniting his armor to produce a flame shield that he declares makes his iron wall even stronger.86

History
Pearl first enters the Baratie conflict by spinning his shield and declaring his title as the iron shield of the Krieg Pirates. He poses confidently and questions his own stylish appearance before lunging at Luffy with a spiked weapon.11
Later Pearl holds a position as hostage chained to a cannon and threatens opponents with fire based weapons while interrupting an argument between Luffy and Sanji.1213
Baratie confrontation
Pearl first appears during the initial approach to the floating restaurant where he voices complaints about having to pedal the vessel and questions the stability of fighting on such footing. He references the limitations of devil fruits in water while threatening Luffy directly. These early exchanges establish his presence among the crew before any direct combat begins on the deck.1415
Once fighting spills inside the restaurant Pearl defeats a Marine on the deck and continues the engagement with Sanji. He later leaps to crush Sanji between his shields and prepares to drop his full weight onto the fallen cook while declaring the attack name Service Pearl. Pearl continues attacking the bound Sanji with a massive mace on the deck and orders Gin to finish the fight while laughing about cracked bones.
