The official cover page reads "Chapter 1050: Honor." It continues Germa 66's cold-blooded voyage, volume 12: "Ichiji & Reiju arrive!" The cover-story image shows Ichiji and Reiju entering the burning Whole Cake Island research-lab scene to rescue their siblings, with Germa technology and flames around them. This is official serial cover-story material rather than the main Wano aftermath, so it is retained as useful extra context.

Deep beneath Wano, Kaido and Big Mom continue sinking after the rooftop battle, with captions marking the separate holes made by Kaido and Big Mom and the emperor falling ever deeper into the underground magma. Above Wano's skies, Luffy finally drops out of Gear Fifth, exhausted and unconscious, while Yamato catches him and cries, "Luffy!!" Onigashima hangs nearby after being moved away from the capital. The page quietly turns the impossible battle into aftermath: the emperors are below, Luffy is falling from the sky, and the island that should have crushed the Flower Capital has survived the final exchange.

02
The declared victor of the rooftop battle is revised. The panel shows Kaido defeated while Luffy lies unconscious in Yamato's arms, and the caption states that the winner has changed. In the Flower Capital, lanterns keep rising as people chant, "Up, up and away!!" Yamato smiles and laughs with relief, then calls down to Momonosuke, "You guys really are something!! I can't believe it!!" Momo's dragon body rests on the ground near the saved island. The page formalizes the result that the raid fought for: Kaido has lost, Luffy has won, and Momo's impossible flame-cloud effort prevented Onigashima from becoming a mass grave.

Meanwhile in the Flower Capital, the festival finally starts to die down under a sky full of lanterns. Toko keeps chanting, "Up, up, and away!" and turns to Tenguyama Hitetsu, saying she heard someone say that her daddy knew he would be killed because he was a really big deal. Hitetsu begins correcting the story, explaining that Yasuie let himself be caught on purpose and asking why he would do that. He says Ebisu Town's resident oddball, Yasuie-dono, gave his life in order to give the country one last chance. The page turns the victory above into a child's understanding of sacrifice below, letting Toko learn that her father's death was not foolishness but a final act of hope.

Hitetsu explains Yasuie's sacrifice to Toko. If he had not acted, the embers of hope entrusted to them would have been snuffed out in an instant. He sacrificed himself for the future, hoping that one day Toko would be able to live happily. Toko realizes that Yasuie did it for her and asks to change her lantern message. Hitetsu says that for a samurai, there is no greater honor. Toko smiles and writes a new message, "Thank you Daddy," replacing the earlier wish to see him again. Sanji, looking at the lanterns from outside the capital, says the surprise takes him back, and the page lets the chapter title land through Yasuie's honor rather than battlefield glory.

As lanterns rise, one carries Toko's corrected message: "Thank you Daddy." Elsewhere, the message finally reaches everyone on Onigashima: "Everybody, listen up!! There is no doubt about it now...!! Luffy drilled Kaido straight down into the ground!!" The announcement spreads over the saved island while Yamato and Momonosuke look on. The page connects the private mourning in the capital with public victory in the raid. Toko's gratitude floats upward at the same time as the fighters learn that Kaido is truly beaten, making the end of the battle feel like payment toward every sacrifice Wano has endured.

The alliance erupts in celebration. People shout, "We've won!!" and "We beat two emperors of the sea!!" while others admit they never expected to survive. They credit Momonosuke, saying he used his gigantic dragon form to prevent Onigashima from crash landing, and others realize the pink dragon was Momo all along. The Beast Pirates grasp that the feud over Oden's regret is finally over after twenty years. Straw Hat taking down Kaido feels impossible but undeniable. The page is a broad victory spread, giving the samurai, pirates, and former prisoners the release they have been holding back since the raid began.

The celebrations continue, but the medical emergency begins immediately. Chopper is told that Luffy and Zoro are in bad shape, with someone shouting, "Chopper, these two are in bad shape!!" and another warning that Zoro is not opening his eyes. Miyagi says there are too many casualties coming in, and allies call for Dr. Chopper while offering to lend a hand. Outside, Momo contacts Zunesha and asks, "Can you hear me? Zunesha?" He says he has given the matter a lot of thought. The page balances triumph with consequences: Luffy and Zoro have won their fights but are barely conscious, while Momo has a political decision to make beyond the battle.

Momonosuke tells Zunesha, "And I have decided... not to open our borders just yet." Zunesha accepts the decision, answering, "Very well... I shall follow your lead. I trust your judgment!!" Momo thanks Zunesha and apologizes. A rumble shakes the area, and Yamato wonders whether it is an earthquake. On the ground, the Beast Pirates still try to rally, insisting they have greater numbers and telling the alliance not to drop its guard. The page shows that victory does not instantly settle Wano's future. Momo chooses caution about the borders, while the remnants of Kaido's army are not emotionally ready to accept defeat.

The Beast Pirates insist there is no way Kaido really lost because they are the crew of an emperor. They say the alliance's lives were already spared once, but Franky, Brook, and the others are ready to keep fighting, with Franky offering to scrap and mentioning fuel left in the tank. Yamato steps in and orders, "Hold it, Beast Pirates!!" She points out that their general just stopped Onigashima from plummeting to the ground, and says that if they keep fighting after being saved by the enemy that beat them, she will personally grind them to dust. The page uses Yamato's authority and strength to stop the defeated army from turning the aftermath into another slaughter.

Onigashima rumbles again, and people ask whether it was an earthquake. The scene cuts to the underground magma pool, where the defeated shapes of Kaido and Big Mom remain submerged in molten rock. At Udon Prisoner Mine in Wano, Babanuki reports unusual activity on the surface of the sea and wonders whether it is an earthquake. The page reveals that the shaking is not only from the fallen island. The emperors' descent has disturbed the magma beneath Wano, building toward another eruption that will send a final signal of the battle's result across the country.

An underwater volcano erupts off Wano's coast with a massive boom. People at the Flower Capital and around Onigashima panic, asking whether it was an explosion, whether it came from Udon, and whether Kaido and his minions are up to something. Momo, still in dragon form above the capital, tells everyone not to worry and says everything is under control. The official box declares the decisive battle in the skies of Wano over: victor, "Straw Hat" Luffy. The page gives the victory an unmistakable announcement, turning the volcanic eruption into a terrifying but final send-off for Kaido and Big Mom's defeat.

Momonosuke descends over the Flower Capital in dragon form and calms the terrified citizens: "Do not be alarmed, I am not Kaido!!" He explains that the eruption was the final send-off for the supreme commander of the Beast Pirates. Then he transforms with a "Poof," shocking the crowd. People see smoke and silhouettes and cry that there are more of them, unsure what is happening. The page marks Momo's first public appearance before the people he has just saved. He must convince them that the dragon over the capital is not the tyrant returning, but the heir and protector who prevented Onigashima from destroying them.

Hiyori appears before the people of the Flower Capital, and the crowd cries out, "Komurasaki-sama!!" Some ask whether she is a ghost because there was a funeral and everything, while others say her beauty cannot be faked. Denjiro, still recognized by some as Boss Kyoshiro, walks beside her, and someone notices his patented pompadour is gone. Denjiro says that this will be a long story, then announces, "First, allow me to present the new shogun of Wano!!" The chapter ends on the winds of change: Hiyori lives, Denjiro reveals himself, and Momonosuke is about to be introduced as the ruler replacing Orochi and Kaido's twenty-year nightmare.
