Chapter 526 summary
Hancock enters Impel Down under escort with Luffy hidden beneath her mantle while Marines cheer her arrival. Vice-Warden Hannibal greets the group and assigns Domino to guide them, explaining the prison's body-check procedures and the Bath of Hell. In the examination room Domino orders Kairoseki handcuffs, but Hancock petrifies her and the surveillance Den Den Mushi, allowing Luffy to slip free before the petrification is reversed. The group proceeds to the elevator while Luffy separates and follows the vivre card downward. On Level 1 the Crimson Floor, Buggy flees from Blugori guards who have spotted him, and Luffy enters the same floor after speaking with prisoners who reveal Ace's location on Level 5. Buggy collides with Luffy during the chase, they recognize each other, and their argument escalates until they abandon stealth. Together they charge the oncoming Blugori in open combat.
