Chapter 571 summary
Luffy races up the collapsing ramp toward the execution platform until Garp blocks his path and declares he will stop him. Memories of Garp training Luffy and Ace as children flash by as Luffy begs his grandfather to move aside. Luffy charges in Gear Second and lands a punch that sends Garp crashing down after the Marine yields. Luffy reaches Ace on the platform as Kizaru destroys the key to the handcuffs. Sengoku transforms into his giant Buddha form to block their escape while Mr. 3 appears and begins forming a wax key. Luffy inflates into a giant balloon and Mr. 3 creates a candle wall to shield them from Sengoku's attack as the platform crumbles. Mr. 3 finishes the key and urges Luffy to save his brother. Ace and Luffy burst free from the exploding platform with Ace's flames active and Whitebeard watching from below.
