On the deck of a ship near the Sabaody Archipelago, Trafalgar Law lounges with his massive sword resting against his shoulder. A crewmate shouts in alarm, "WHATI! WE'RE STILL NOT HEADING FOR THE NEW WORLDI!" Law replies calmly, "No need to get hasty. It's not as though one piece...is going anywhere." Another voice adds, "We wait for the right moment... that's all I'm saying." In a smaller panel, Law continues, "Even so, with Blackbeard and his crew stirring things up... If pirates are taking each other out, then so much the better for us. No need to get involved in the small stuff." Suddenly Bepo and the Heart Pirates rush forward, crying "CAPTAAAAIN!!" with hearts floating around them. Law snaps, "Now stop blathering... and just do as I say," while declaring, "Where there's a position I need... I'll take it!!!"

On a snowy winter island in the New World, X Drake stands amid swirling snow and onlookers. A speech bubble notes, "...of the Yonko Kaidou-sama......and I have been given the task of guarding it." Drake warns a rookie, "This is just a warning. You don't want to get on the wrong side of Kaidou-sama, rookie." The rookie asks, "Oh, I'm not telling you to do anything in particular. What are you asking me to do...I" Drake answers, "...AndI" The rookie presses, "In other words, if I were to, say, take you out, then Kaidou would not let me get away with it." Drake replies, "That's the deal... If you understand, then hurry up and..." A massive dinosaur head lunges forward with a "ガグググ..." sound as Drake concludes, "That makes things nice and simple."

On a spring island in the New World, Scratchmen Apoo stands tall as a massive herd of wild boars charges toward him and his crew. Someone yells, "RUN!! WE DON'T STAND A CHANCE AGAINST SUCH A HUGE, FIERCE HERD OF WILD BOAR!!!" Apoo shouts "HUHI!!" while the boars trample everything with loud "ガバババババ" effects. Crew members scream "AHH AHH" and flee. Apoo declares, "Fine, then! Just juuuuump!!!" as his men leap off a cliff, one yelling "WE'RE COMING UP TO A CLIFF!!!" Below, the crew reacts in panic: "WHAT THE HECK IS UP WITH THIS ISLANDI!!!" "I CAN SEE THAT!!!" "FUGOH FUGOH" "...SEEM TO BE RUNNING ON THIN AIR!!!" Apoo is labeled "SCRATCHMEN APOO" as the chaos unfolds.

The Blackbeard Pirates argue aboard their log raft in the New World near a burning island. Shiryu warns, "I'M JUST SAYING IT'S CARELESS. LIKE EVERYTHING ELSE YOU PEOPLE DO." Jesus Burgess snaps back, "YOU GET ATTACHED TO THESE THINGS, Y'KNOWI!" Sanjuan Wolf complains loudly, "OW... A FISH JUST BIT ME... MY WHOLE BODY'S WORN OUT... MY LEGS ARE AT THEIR LIMIT... AHHHH." Marshall D. Teach lounges with a bottle, shouting, "OUR LOG RAFT IS ON THE VERGE OF BREAKING BECAUSE OF YOU!!! IT'S YOUR FAULT WE'RE DOING THIS DEAL!!! AHH, QUIT YOUR COMPLAINING, WOLF!!!" Lafitte smirks, "WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE SLAUGHTEREDI WE ARE THE BLACKBEARD PIRATES." Avalo Pizarro demands, "LET ME TAKE CHARGE OF THIS OUTFIT!! WHAT SAY YOU! LET ME BE CAPTAIN, EH, TEACHI!" Vasco Shot and Doc Q add, "WE'RE GONNA RUN OUT OF BOOZE! AREN'T WE GONNA HEAD FOR AN ISLAND... WITH A TOWN ANYTIME SOONI!" and "THE HEAVENS KNOW ALL THAT DESTINY HAS TO HOLD... YES..." Van Auger and Catarina Devon bicker about clothes and the prisoner. Teach growls, "IF I'D KNOWN THIS WAS GONNA HAPPEN, I OUGHT TO HAVE STOLEN US A BATTLESHIP BACK AT MARINEFORD!! FRANKLY, IT IS OUTRAGEOUS THAT YOU SET SAIL INTO THE NEW WORLD ON A LOG RAFT IN THE FIRST PLACE."

Jewelry Bonney is chained and dangling upside down amid the chaos. A voice shouts, "AREN'T YA, JEWELRY BONNEY...I!I!" Bonney retorts with a fierce glare. Someone yells, "CAPTAIN BONNEY..." She declares, "I'M AMAZED A LITTLE GIRLIE LIKE YOU EVER MANAGED TO EARN HERSELF A BOUNTY OVER A HUNDRED MILLION! THE NEW WORLD IS A PLACE FOR ONLY THE STRONGEST!!!" Teach looms over her, laughing, "BUT HOW ABOUT BECOMING MY WOMANI IF YOU DID THAT, I WOULDN'T MIND TAKING YOU ALONG! YOU'RE TOO WEAK FOR ME TO BOTHER TAKING ON AS A CREWMATE... BUT THIS IS WHERE YOUR JOURNEY ENDS... ZEHAHAHAH!! IT MUST'VE BEEN A LONG JOURNEY, ALL THE WAY FROM SOUTH BLUE... DON'T YOU FEEL LIKE SEEING WHAT LIES UP AHEAD...I!! HMMII"

Bonney attacks furiously, kicking and shouting, "YOU BEARDED PIG!!! DON'T SCREW WITH ME!!! GUA HH!!!" Teach blocks and counters with a massive punch amid impact lines and debris. He laughs, "WHEEE... YEAH, YOU'RE NO GOOD. TOO VULGAR. A GIRL'S GOTTA HAVE CLASS, DON'T YOU KNOW THATI! I'VE GOT ENOUGH VULGAR LOUTS IN MY CREW ALREADY!!! AHAHA HAHAH AHAH!!! GYAHHAHA HAHAH!!!" A crew member reports, "CAPTAIN!! THE MARINES HAVE COME INTO VIEW!!! THEY'D BETTER HAVE BROUGHT THE BATTLESHIP WE ASKED FOR!!" Another cries, "AKAINU IS ON BOARD!!!" Teach reacts in shock, "HUHI! HOW CAN YOU TELLI!"

The crew panics as the marines approach the burning island. Teach yells, "LET'S GET OUTTA HERE, MEN!!! GYAHHAHAHA HAHAH!! WE SCREWED UP BIG TIME-EEE!!!" A voice shouts, "DAMMIT!!! I'M NOT LOOKING TO GET INVOLVED IN THAT KIND OF STUFF JUST YET!!!" On the marine side, a tall figure in a long coat stands with soldiers as they observe the scene. He states, "NO SIGN OF HIM...!!! AND BLACKBEARD...I" Jewelry Bonney, freed or reacting nearby, screams with rage, "YOU PEOPLE...!!! BUT THAT IS ALL OVER NOW... WHEN I HEARD THAT YOU HAD FLED THE GOVERNMENT, A CHILL WENT DOWN MY SPINE. I'LL NEVER FORGIVE YOU!!! NEVER!!!" The marines stand ready with rifles drawn.

In a lavishly decorated chamber inside the Holy Land of Mariejoa on the Red Line, several figures react with shock. "FUFFUFFU... IT SURE TOOK ME BY SURPRISE, I'LL TELL YOU THAT. DOES THE KAGE NO MI HAVE THAT KIND OF POWERI" one asks. Another replies, "I DON'T MEAN JUST LIKE A FIGURE OF SPEECH, EITHER. HE LITERALLY VANISHED INTO THIN AIR!!" A third confirms, "YEAH. THAT'S WHAT HAPPENED." "VANISHED...I" echoes a voice. A framed sign reads "RED LINE: HOLY LAND OF MARIEJOA." Tension rises as someone exclaims, "THIS IS NO JOKING MATTER!!!" A feathered figure with wild hair growls, "HMMMI!" while a massive impact sound "ドカッ!!" erupts. The feathered man snaps, "DON'T YOU START GETTING ALL COCKY, NOW..." A World Government symbol appears as voices argue, "AND YOU CALL THIS YOUR JOB, DO YOU...I!I!" and "AHH, DON'T WORRY... HE WAS HALF-DEAD ALREADY. THERE WAS NO SAVING HIM, NO MATTER WHERE HE WENT." Another adds, "WELL... UNLESS HE MANAGED TO RESURRECT HIMSELF AS A ZOMBIE, OF COURSE... FUFFU FUFFU!! HEY, IT SERVES HIM RIGHT." The feathered man leans in menacingly, declaring, "IF I GET BORED WITH OUR LITTLE ARRANGEMENT WITH YOU GUYS, I'M ALWAYS READY......TO QUIT THE SHICHIBUKAI FOR GOOD. AND DON'T YOU FORGET IT!!" A subordinate retorts, "SINCE WHEN ARE YOU MY SUPERIOR, EHI" and "I DON'T CARE HOW MUCH OF A BIG SHOT YOU ARE IN THE GOVERNMENT - I'M A PIRATE, AND WE DON'T GIVE A CRAP ABOUT THAT SHIT...!!!"

Far away in South Blue: Torino Kingdom, a massive tree-house village rises from the sea. Voices call out, "TANUKICHI!!! WE DID SAY YOU SHOULD COME BACK SOMETIME...BUT THIS SOON IS JUST CRAZY!!" Chopper, wearing his Chopper Mask and standing among the bird-like villagers, hears "CRAW!!" The villagers react with surprise. One says, "...BUT I AM ACTUALLY HIS FRIEND, CHOPPER MASK!!" Another protests, "NO... I AM NOT WHO YOU THINK I AM! YOU HAVE THE WRONG MAN!! I MAY LOOK LIKE HIM..." A villager complains, "THAT'S REALLY PUSHING IT, TANUKICHI... YOU'RE JUST EMBARRASSED ABOUT COMING BACK SO SOON..." Chopper sweats nervously as a sign reads "ビーん!". The villagers press closer, one insisting, "OH, ALL RIGHT!! YOUR KINDNESS IS KILLING ME!!" Chopper replies, "AH, TANUKICHI!!" Another villager states, "THERE'S NO REASON TO BE SO MEAN! AT TIMES LIKE THESE, IT'S A FRIEND'S DUTY TO WELCOME -" Chopper shouts back, "N... NOT AT ALL!!!" A final voice notes, "...SO YOU DISGUISED YOURSELF LIKE THAT, RIGHTI"

Chopper stands before the towering tree village and declares, "THERE WERE ALL KINDS OF PLANTS GROWING UP THERE THAT I'D NEVER SEEN, EVEN IN AN ENCYCLOPAEDIA... I NEED TO RESEARCH THEM PROPERLY!" He continues, "THE TRUTH IS, I SUDDENLY FOUND OUT ABOUT SOMETHING I HAVE TO DO...!! DO YOU MIND IF I STAY HERE A LITTLE LONGER...I!" Sound effects "ゴゴ" rumble as he adds, "THIS IS GOING TO BE A LOT OF WORK...!!!! I'LL HAVE TO BUILD UP PLENTY OF ENERGY FOR THE JOURNEY...!!" A villager asks, "HMI TANUKICHII" The group gathers near stone ruins as Chopper explains his plans. A large villager proclaims, "'COURSE WE DON'T!! YOU'RE ALWAYS WELCOME HERE!!!" Inside the village library filled with bookshelves, Chopper thinks, "I HAD BEEN JUDGING THE PEOPLE OF THIS ISLAND ON THEIR APPEARANCES... BUT COME TO THINK OF IT, THEIR WEAPONS ARE SURPRISINGLY MECHANICALLY ADVANCED, AS WELL..." The villagers explain, "WE HAVE ALL KINDS OF PLANTS ON THIS ISLAND THAT MAKE POTENT MEDICINES. WE'RE SKILLED MEDICINE-MAKERS, BUT WE WERE REALLY IN A FIX UNTIL YOU CAME ALONG, WITH THOSEBIRDS STOPPING US FROM GETTING TO THEPLANTS WE NEED." Chopper stares in awe at the towering shelves as a beam of light highlights the books and a sign reads "ばーん!!". A villager offers, "THIS IS THE VILLAGE LIBRARY. USE IT ALL YOU LIKE FOR YOUR RESEARCH." Chopper exclaims, "AHHHH...! YOU HAD ALL THESE BOOKSI!!"

In the library, Chopper stares up at the endless books and thinks, "...TO ACHIEVE HERE IN THIS COUNTRY...I!!!" He wonders, "WHAT MIGHT I BE ABLE" A villager notes, "THERE WAS SOME PRETTY RUDE STUFF IN THERE..." Chopper replies, "UH, TANUKICHI, YOU PROBABLY DIDN'T MEAN TO SAY ALL THAT OUT LOUD, BUT I COULD ACTUALLY HEAR YOU." His eyes widen in shock. Suddenly the scene shifts to chaos as pirates attack. A villager screams, "AAAGHHH!!! HELP MEE EEE!!!" while another yells, "STOP, MEAT!!!" Chopper panics, "PIRATES...I!" A monstrous roar erupts, "A MONSTE EEEER!!" and "IT'S A YETI!!" The narrator states, "OH, THERE ARE HUNDREDS OF THEM OUT AT SEA!" The final panels cut to a distant island where Luffy stands triumphantly before a castle, raising his fist and shouting, "LET'S GO!!!" A small figure watches nearby as a pirate flag waves and Luffy grins widely. A skull lies in the foreground amid motion lines and impact effects.

Chopper stands trembling, tears in his eyes. "--I DON'T EVER WANT... TO GO THROUGH THAT AGAIN....!" In the background, a small figure shouts, "EVERYONE!!! GETTING OUT OF HERE IS ALL THAT MATTERS RIGHT NOW!!!" Another voice reflects, "ALL I COULD THINK ABOUT WAS KEEPING UP... DID I EVER REALLY MANAGE TO DO ANYTHING FOR HIM...I" The narration states, "IT WAS LUFFY WHO FINALLY TOOK ME OUT TO SEA..." Someone calls out, "HEY, COULD YOU GET SOME PLANTS FOR MEI!" Chopper clenches his fists, sweat flying. "...EVEN IF IT MEANT BECOMING A REAL MONSTER....!!! I'D DO ANYTHING TO HELP YOU..." The final spread shows Luffy standing atop a massive tree, arms raised. "I'M GOING TO GET STRONGER!!!" He roars, "LUFFY YYYYY!!! I PROMISE YOU!!!" with impact lines and cheering figures below.

A scarred man with a long nose argues, "--IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE I'M ONE OF HIS CREW, THEN I'M NOT TELLING YOU!" He continues, "THERE WAS A MESSAGE FOR ME IN THAT ARTICLE." Another voice recalls, "YOU SUDDENLY SAID 'I SEE', AND WENT ALL CALM..." The scarred man adds, "SO WHAT WAS THAT NEWSPAPER ARTICLE, IN THE ENDI" A sign reads "GRAND LINE: KAMABAKKA KINGDOM". Inside a grand hall, a massive figure with an afro and crown eats at a table. "THE TASTE IS GOOD, YEAH, BUT THERE'S MORE... IT'S LIKE I'M BEING FILLED WITH ENERGY...!!!!" He asks, "HMI HEY... COULD YOU TELL ME WHO MADE THIS MEALI" The large figure declares, "THIS IS THE 'CUISINE OF DOMINANCE', AND THERE ARE MANY CHEFS ON HIS ISLAND CAPABLE OF PREPARING IT!!!" He proclaims, "ONE'S DIET IS ONE'S PERSONAL 'ENVIRONMENT'!!! IT BUILDS BOTH BODY AND CHARACTER - EVERYTHING THAT MAKES UP A HUMAN BEING!! DOMINANCE IS KEY!!!"

Sanji sweats heavily, heart symbols floating around him. "I - IF I COULD MAKE NAMI-SAN AND ROBIN-CHAN'S BODIES EVEN MORE SEXUAL THAN THEY ALREADY ARE...!" The large afro figure counters, "SO I COULD ACTUALLY HELP TO IMPROVE THEIR BODIES THROUGH THE FOOD THAT I MAKE FOR THEM EVERY DAY...I" Sanji panics, "I - I DON'T KNOW WHAT I'D DO...!!!!" The large figure leans in, "THE FOOD YOU EAT DEFINES WHO YOU BECOME...I!" Sanji is sent flying with a powerful kick, yelling "MY ANSWER IS 'NO'!!!" The large figure shouts, "I HAVE DECIDED!! YOU MUST TEACH ME THE WAYS OF THIS 'CUISINE OF DOMINANCE'!!!" In the next panel, the large figure explains, "THE 99 VITAL RECIPES ARE A FUNDAMENTAL PART... OF THE SECRET NEWKAMA KENPO ART OF BRIDAL DISCIPLINE HANDED DOWN IN KAMABAKKA KINGDOM!!"

The large afro figure laughs wildly, "HEE-HAHH HHHH!!!" Sanji yells, "YOU STAND FIRM TO YOUR PRINCIPLES... I LIKE THAT!! VERY WELL... I VILL GRANT YOU A CHANCE!!!" The large figure roars, "I WAS NOT BORN INTO THIS WORLD TO BECOME FRIENDS WITH THE LADIES!!! I WAS BORN INTO THIS WORLD TO LOVE THE LADIES!!! I AM A MAN!!! NEVER!!!" He continues, "HOWEVER! THE ENTIRE NEWKAMA POPULATION OF THIS COUNTRY VILL SPEND DAY AND NIGHT... ATTEMPTING TO DRESS YOU IN A SWEET DRESS!! VILL YOU STILL BE ABLE TO CALL YOURSELF A MAN IF THEY SUCCEEDI!" He adds, "I VILL LEAVE ONE OF THE RECIPES IN THE HANDS OF EACH OF THE 99 INSTRUCTORS WHO LIVE AROUND THIS ISLAND. IF YOU CALL YOURSELF A PIRATE, THEN PROVE IT BY STEALING ALL 99 OF THOSE RECIPES.....!!!" Sanji stands ready as the large figure declares, "THIS IS A BATTLE BETWEEN YOU AND THE WORLD OF NEWKAMA KENPO!!!"

Luffy, battered and bandaged, leans forward intensely as voices discuss resilience: "...THEY WON'T STAND UP TO A SINGLE SPEAR THRUST FROM THE HEART. THERE ARE TIMES WHEN EVEN IF YOU COVER YOUR WHOLE BODY IN WEAPONS..." A cloaked figure advises, "YOU KEEP A CLOSE EYE ON HIM, SANJI..." Luffy grins wildly and shouts, "BECOME MY PIRATE SHIP'S COOK!! WHY DON'T YOU JOIN MY CREW!!" In a distant view of the bridge, Sanji stands with his back turned. The scene shifts to a massive explosion on the shore with a rainbow, captioned "...WITH THE SUPPORT OF THE WORLD'S GREATEST COOK, SO THAT YOU CAN BECOME PIRATE KING!!!" Sanji questions Luffy, "HAVE YOU HEARD OF ALL BLUEI" while Luffy urges, "SAY..." A smoking man warns, "YOU'D BETTER NOT GIVE IN!!! HEY LUFFY...!!" In a massive close-up, Sanji roars with determination, "I ACCEPT YOUR CHALLENGE!!! I'LL SURVIVE THIS HELL!!!!"
