The man, Kuro, is dressed in a dark suit and glasses. He rests his chin on his hands, his fingers crossed, looking intensely annoyed. He mutters to himself, "WHY ARE THEY LATE..." as he adjusts his glasses with the palms of his hands, producing a "SRET SRET" sound.

A wider shot shows Nami and Usopp arguing fiercely on the rocky path, while Luffy and Zoro stand calmly behind them. Nami yells, "I COULDN'T HELP IT! BETTER ONE PERSON FALL DOWN THAN BOTH OF US!" and adds, "THEN YOU SHOULD'VE BEEN THE ONE TO FALL!" Usopp shouts back, "YOU BASTARD! YOU JUST SAID NORTH, YOU DIDN'T EVEN TELL ME WHICH WAY NORTH IS!" Luffy looks surprised as he notices the stirring pirates, exclaiming, "AH! THEY'RE STILL ALIVE! THEY'RE PRETTY TOUGH!" Jango, looking serious, addresses his crew: "LISTEN! WE DON'T HAVE TIME TO WASTE HERE! SINCE THE OPPONENT IS STRONG, WE MUST BE STRONGER..." Jango then holds up his ringed pendulum by a string, instructing them, "COME! LOOK AT MY PENDULUM. AFTER I SAY '1, 2, JANGO' YOU GUYS WILL BECOME STRONGER!" The battered Black Cat Pirates stare blankly at the swinging pendulum as Jango continues his hypnotic suggestion: "YOUR WOUNDS WILL HEAL! AND YOU WILL BECOME MUCH STRONGER THAN BEFORE!!" Watching this bizarre display, Luffy asks, "WHAT'S THAT GUY DOING?" Usopp, standing next to him, replies, "I DUNNO..." Nami realizes what is happening and says, "IT MUST BE HYPNOTISM! HE'S TRYING TO MAKE THEM THINK THEY'RE STRONGER!" Usopp, sweating, adds, "THIS IS ABSURD!"

Jango begins his countdown while the battered Black Cat Pirates stare at the swinging pendulum. "ONE..." he says, as the pirates stagger weakly. "TWO..." he continues. Then, Jango suddenly pulls the brim of his hat down over his eyes with a "TAP" and shouts, "JANGO!!!" Nami, Usopp, Luffy, and Zoro watch in silence, with Nami uttering a confused "EHH..." Suddenly, the Black Cat Pirates erupt with explosive energy. They roar "UWOOOOOOOOOOOOOH!!!!" at the top of their lungs. Their bodies bulge with newfound muscle, veins popping on their faces and arms as they brandish their swords, completely transformed from their previously weakened state into a frenzy of aggressive power.

Nami looks on in sheer disbelief, exclaiming, "NO WAY!? THEY WERE STILL SHAKY JUST A WHILE AGO!" One of the hypnotized Black Cat Pirates, bulging with unnatural muscle, yells "HEAH!" and throws a powerful punch directly into the solid rock face of the nearby cliff. Usopp watches, uttering a stunned "UH..." as a loud "CRACK!!" echoes. The impact of the pirate's punch causes a massive explosion of rock and debris, completely shattering a large section of the cliff wall. The pirates continue to roar "UOOOOO-OOOOOH!" in their frenzied state. Usopp is left wide-eyed and terrified, sweating profusely as he stammers, "HE CRUSHED THE WALL... HOW DID THEY GAIN SO MUCH STRENGTH!?"

Usopp trembles, noting, "IF JUST ONE GUY CAN CRUSH THE WALL... THEN THAT MANY GUYS..." The Black Cat Pirates charge forward with their weapons raised, roaring "OOOOO OOOOO OOOOH!!" Zoro draws his sword, looking serious, and tells Nami and Usopp, "YOU TWO HURRY AND GO UP THE SLOPE!" Nami answers, "WE'LL TAKE CARE OF THIS..." Zoro then looks back over his shoulder and calls out, "HEY! LUFFY!" Luffy stands completely still, his head bowed and his eyes hidden under the shadow of his straw hat. Jango looks confused, repeating, "LUFFY!?"

Luffy suddenly throws his head back, his mouth wide open, and lets out a massive roar: "YEAAAAAAAHHHH!!!" Large Japanese characters emphasize his shout. Zoro, Nami, and Usopp recoil in shock. Zoro yells, "YOU GOT HYPNOTIZED TOO?!?" Jango looks bewildered, uttering "EH!?" Usopp sweatdrops and says, "GOT HYPNOTIZED SO EASILY..." while Nami adds, "HE'S NOT YOUR AVERAGE IDIOT..." Luffy glares fiercely, veins bulging on his face as he roars "OOOO OOOO OOOO OOOO OOO!!" The hypnotized Black Cat Pirates charge toward him, also roaring "UWOO OOOO OOOO OOO!!" Zoro yells at him again, "HEY! LUFFY!!"

The Black Cat Pirates charge forward with axes and swords. Luffy pulls both of his arms far back, stretching them out unnaturally behind him with "SHU SHU" sound effects. He calls out, "GOMU GOMU". Luffy then unleashes a furious barrage of punches directly into the charging crowd. His fists blur into dozens of rapid strikes, creating a massive wall of impacts. He shouts, "GATLING GUN!!!" Large, jagged sound effects fill the air as the relentless punches connect with the pirates.

The sheer force of Luffy's attack sends the Black Cat Pirates flying helplessly into the air in all directions. They scream "UWA AAA AAA HHH!!!" as they are blasted backward, dropping their weapons. Luffy stands in the background, his arms still extended from the final punches. In the bottom panels, Luffy stands tall, crossing his arms in front of his chest with his fists clenched. Jango and Usopp stare at him in absolute shock. Jango stammers, "HIS ARMS..." while Usopp looks on with wide eyes.

Jango is also caught up in the hypnosis and runs in a panic alongside the rush, screaming, "KYAAAAAAAH!!" with a heavy "DODODO!!" sound effect around him. A wide shot reveals Luffy sprinting past the defeated Black Cat Pirates scattered on the rocky shore, with the Black Cat pirate ship and its long-necked black cat figurehead visible nearby. Someone cries out, "WAAH!!" as Luffy rushes past with a "ZUDODODOO" rumble. Zoro, standing further up the slope, glances back over his shoulder with a sweatdrop, silently observing Luffy's erratic behavior with a "..." thought bubble. Reaching the ship, Luffy leaps up and grabs the long neck of the black cat figurehead with both hands. A loud "GASHI...!!" sound effect marks his firm grip, while a voice from off-panel yells, "ARGH!!"

Luffy, gripping the ship's figurehead, strains with all his might. His arm muscles bulge unnaturally as he pulls backward, letting out a fierce "AAARRGH!!!" The wood begins to give way with loud "MERI MERI MERI" creaking sounds. The long neck of the black cat figurehead bends backward under Luffy's immense strength, accompanied by sharp "BAKI BAKI" cracking noises. Nami and Usopp watch the spectacle from afar. Nami cheers him on, yelling, "GO! LUFFY!" while Usopp stands beside her, completely speechless, his eyes wide and mouth agape with a "!!!" reaction. With a final, explosive effort, Luffy completely snaps the massive figurehead off the ship. A violent "BOKI BAKI...!!" sound effect fills the air. The pirates panic, with one screaming, "WAAAH! HE'S TAKING OFF THE BOW! HE'S DESTROYING OUR SHIP!!" while another simply gasps, "OH!"

The Black Cat Pirates scramble in absolute panic as Luffy begins to march toward them, carrying the colossal wooden cat head. A heavy "GOGO GOGO" rumbling sound effect follows his steps. The pirates scream in terror, "HE'S TRYING TO KILL US!!" and plead, "CAPTAIN! HELP US!!" Seeing the impending disaster, Jango quickly raises his ringed pendulum, shouting to Luffy, "I'LL SAY '1, 2, JANGO', AND YOU WILL FALL ASLEEP!" Jango begins to swing the pendulum with a sharp "BA!!" sound, starting his countdown: "ONE..." Luffy continues his charge, still holding the massive figurehead, his face contorted in a furious roar of "OOOOOOOOOH!!" as Jango continues, "TWO..." In the final panel, Jango pulls the brim of his hat down over his eyes with a "TAP" and shouts the final trigger word: "JANGO!!"

The hypnosis takes immediate effect. A close-up of Luffy shows his eyes closed, a peaceful "ZZZ..." bubble escaping his lips as he instantly falls asleep standing up. With Luffy unconscious, his grip on the massive black cat figurehead loosens. The colossal wooden structure begins to tip forward with a "KAKUN" sound effect. The pirates below scream "WAAAH!!!" in horror as they see the giant object falling toward them, while Luffy himself starts to tip backward, still snoring "ZZZ..." The massive figurehead crashes down onto the rocky shore with a devastating "DOSHUUUUU!!" impact, crushing the area where the pirates were standing. A massive cloud of dust and debris explodes outward. From beneath the crushing weight, a collective scream of "KYAAAAAAAH!!" rings out, while Luffy's "ZZZ..." bubble floats peacefully amidst the chaos. When the dust settles slightly, Luffy lies flat on his back on the ground, fast asleep and completely oblivious to the destruction he just caused, with steady "ZZZ... ZZZ..." bubbles rising from him.
